Ambrose looks a good prospect and hard to get away from. Although drawn much wider than ever before, can take a middle course

Going Saturday but away visiting family in Scotland for the final

Ambrose should have no trouble winning on Saturday. Will go middle but everything inside will head rails as well. Hope he wins it for Bev, only 2 middles and 2 wides in comp so the draw will be crucial for the final. He wants 3 or 4 ideally. 2/1 outright with Skybet to win the comp but there aren't many dangers. I've took a chance ew as well on Newinn Banger at 12/1 with a good heat draw to play with. Only Sky & Fred priced up and Fred have come in under Sky on the majority of the dogs so not a lot of options ante post just yet.

Had a blonde moment ealier as well, Ambrose did the clock at 2720 not 2742, so his last run of 2733 wasnt a new clock. Getting old lol

Good race for 2nd place behind Ambrose tonight. Wouldn't fancy whatever takes it to finish in the first 3 in the final though. Good luck though if you've played, You don't need much on at those prices. After taking 12/1 Newinn Banger each way with Sky, Lads have come in at 16/1 lol. Struggling to see why that is. Ambrose looks a good fav, but Banger 2nd in tonight, and should get a good draw in the final if he qualifies as one of only 2 wides. Looks to have fair place prospects and if Ambrose draws 1 in the final, it will be more difficult for him.

Ambrose impressive tonight as you would expect from a 1/5 chance. Got plenty in hand on the clock. Just needs to be drawn outside Small But Deadly. He's a tight railer whereas Ambrose more middle. Droopys Carat will be in 5 with Newinn Banger in 6, with 4 seeded rails inside.

8/11 Ambrose, if anyone's interested?

2/1 was much better, though

Think it's Ambrose's race to lose. Won't be 8/11 on the night, but think most are on at 2/1 anyway who wanted to back him. Hoping he runs as he can and shut's some of the doubters up who don't rate him.

Ambrose duly obliged in fine style for the locals. Eclipse or Essex Vase is next on the agenda if everything goes to plan.
