British bred comp starts monday notts. Gona take runners away from all england. Rabs dogs up recently. The felt dog also. As usual late sponsorship deals other races put on. Be a lot o graded dogs in i fear. Once was 1 of the most prestigeous races in callender. It ment a lot to win it an u needed a proper dog to win it. Hope i,m wrong but think might struggle to fill.

Northern Flat starts next Saturday as well. Same private, used to be a prestigious competition, now an 18 dog sweepstake. Roxholme Nidge was pencilled in but only did 2836 trial so something may be amiss with him.

Ye that not right deepdale. I know he aint got many miles on clock. Stud duties beckon. Imo he will av the pick of the best broods around, so if he,s gona make it we should be able to tell first crop.

Think Donny St Leger on the agenda, too

Nidge had a recurrence of an old shoulder injury so plans on hold according to JK in the Post. Steel City maybe a target or retirement if they can't get him right.

Didnt see 8/1 Ice On Fire. Thought i was doing okay with 6/1, seeing as Verve gone to pieces at the start
Agree with Juliet too Private but could get 14/1 now so going to see if its still there for tomorrow's boost (useful when things fall into place) |

By:
100% woody uncle fred went 8/1. I know there was bigger price juliet with the trinkett stealers

read the race over view on £3.65 for 7.26 at newc 2 moz
2018 All England Cup champion DROOPYS VERVE, who clocked a rapid 28.50sec (calc) in a recent trial over course and distance, is poised to make a successful start in his defence of the title. ROXHOLME GLORY, a semi-finalist in this year's £100,000 Greyhound Derby (480m) at Wimbledon, will provide stern opposition and is the obvious choice for the forecast. PLAZA LEP, the pick of the others, should race close to the pace for a long way but weakens in the closing stages and may not have anything left in the run-in. JUNCTION JOHN, an unexposed type, is worth a cautionary check in the market. Sels: 321 |

Had some of the 12/1 Junction, although only 365 priced up
|
|
By:
Tried a mug's double, too
38/1 Ice On Fire and Antigua Fire (Sportsbook) No boost, they only boost singles - unlike Laddies |
|

Backed fadesandblades 9/2

£195.
195 miserable quid! That's what connections will get in total, of any open quality dog who qualifies, yet fails to win a heat or semi, but makes it to the final, then finishes third, fourth, fifth or sixth. I wonder how much that is per hour, per kennel, in man/woman time? If they're not local and have to travel any way? Newcastle graders make £105 for finishing last three times running! Unbelievable. I take my hat off to all owners and trainers providing dogs for our entertainment in this competition. |

Second semi final u,d be pushed to find a better race north o watford in last 10 years. Come on you odds compilers make a book for once in ur life. Got a chance to offer value n dont matter wot result is you will get money.

Make no mistake, Juliet can do much better. Not saying she's going to win her semi but could chase home Verve (25/1 'cast) or Reggie (41/1) with Ice On Fire's blistering early leaving him slightly short business end
Away now. Not home 'til Monday but should make it in time for Notts |
