Looking at british bred plate tomorrow at newcastle. Who the f uck made the trap draw? I have no axe to grind against fellow scot rab. But if u enter 6 greyhounds in a 36 dog comp an they all get drawn in different heats ffs come on. Do the gbgb think we are all buttoned up the back. There should be an inquiry at national level immediately. The odds of this happening imo almost incalculable. Nobody is telling me that this draw not crooked. I wonder how the other owners n trainers feel. Or am i just a stupid old synic that cant calculate the odds.
"1/5 x 1/4/ x 1/3 x 1/2 x 1/1 is the chance surely.
5/1 poke."
Errr - no!
It's over 4/1 for the last leg of the acca
If five heats already have a dog in them, then there are 25 spaces for the final dog to be drawn with one of the others, and 6 spaces in the other heat - so 25/6 - ignoring seeding of course

I make it more like, 1-5, 1-2, Evs, 2-1 & 5-1. Total odds around 64-1 yet can't help thinking it should be bigger. It is in my head anyway. Very unusual. Was thinking they may have had a rule so that trainers couldn't have dogs in same heat first round, (seem to remember this happening before somewhere), but then see Stuart Ray has 2 in heat 4. So that don't apply unless one came in as a reserve.
