In no particular order
First impressions, the Monmore Summer Festival (Saturday) appears rather poor
Friday we have the semis of the Champion Stakes at Romford and happy to see how it pans out for Sheldan and Deanridge Kane
Lenson Wilson and Shaneboy Bowie due to have a busy time of it, engaged same races Hove (Thursday) and Crayford (Saturday) but wouldnt normally touch hurdle racing with a barge pole. Also at the Kent track, Stardom reappears after her impressive record breaking performance and the long distance marathon could be a battle of heads again. Again, usually give such races the swerve
Of course on Saturday, we have the 3rd round of the Irish Derby at Shelbourne, too

Any1 with half a brain would know the yarmouth derby starts monday. Would u not think that would have an effect on monmore. Or am i just being stupid.
Used to be a great festival not so long ago. Besides, hadn't seen the runners for Yarmouth and im going Algarve Monday anyway

Apparently, the East Anglian Derby doesn't start until Sept 2nd. Think Private is being stupid, or just losing the plot 
Some of the main protagonists could be Roxholme's Nidge, Glory, Jim and Seaglass's Phantom and Tiger

It used to be several valuable competitions running in parallel.
Now, as well as the Classic and the Gold Cup, it is a generic term for a number of one-off Opens worth £500 every other Saturday - it has been running through the Summer.
"rather poor" - LMAO - it;s a bit better than Perry Barr. They have cancelled because they couldn't fill their races.
The point about Yarmouth is that it starts Monday which IS the 2nd September. Dogs engaged there are hardly likely to be running elsewhere over the weekend.
