Magical Bale has stayed better then i expected the last few runs, Clonbrien Prince would have been long odds on at the 3rd but No we stuck to the task well to win, great draw to work from in the semis.

I've taken the 10s Jaytee Jerry for the 2nd heat on Saturday, thought he never got a chance to run for half the race on Saturday and didn't run thay bad, love his make up as don't think Blinder is rails and 3 and 4 will be coming in on top of him if he doesn't outtrap them. Can see Jaytee Jerry doing a big run soon as well, gives that impression it's not far away.

Also think the 10/3 Droopys Davy is too big to overturn Slippy Cian this week, was a good comeback from Davy last week and this time draw inside Cian could really help, had he been inside him Saturday Cian would have been in trouble on the corner and if he doesn't get one of his better starts I think Davy gets first crack at the likely pace setters inside and Cian will find it hard to back run him.

Dare say I'm going to upset some people again but it's only my views

Ht 1. At the price difference, think i'd prefer to take a chance on Cushie Jet rather than Magical Bale

Ht 2. A couple were not far behind Lenson Blinder first round but reckon still hard to hold. Feel sure Jaytee Jerry will come up short

Ht 3. Slippy Cian my idea of the outright winner with Droopys Davy runs too much in fits and starts for my liking and Ballyanne Sim fluke Irish Derby winner. Never performed the like since

Ht 4. Good race Clonbrien Prince and Clona Blaze. Prince should have beaten Bale last time for my money and im quite a Clona Blaze fan, although flattered by last time's winning margin. Apart from Karlow Eddie, reckon Wolfe the weakest link, enter the screams of derision!

I put a score e/w i/4 odds 1st 4 at 50/1 on Akelawre , i thought he ran a blinder from half way, will need a bit of luck at the 1st bend but should quilify from saterdays heat.

I would.nt rule out Sim myself, got better with each run in the derby.

Sick, think read Davy race right. Davy destroyed bottom not doing himself any favour but had no idea what to get inside to beat 5 n 6. Ended up n bet 5 Ffs, add to my collection  of 2nds
