did you watch part 2 take it from me that Cristian knows his stuff just got in after a 14 hour shift same tomorrow. sat having a glass of chilled Chablis. thinking Ronnie where did it all go wrong. regards Ronnie. |

the latest interview a 3 parter with brian chappell of justice for punters, well worth a watch imo
By:
Excellent watch...Dean one of the few who has successfully adapted and stayed the trip as everything has moved online and away from the ring....found it compelling viewing and strikingly honest
By:
the interviews are brilliant and good to get some honesty from people in the game rather than the gravy train talk,

enjoyed all of them but sad to say the bookmaking game has gone. I honestly think it is only going to get worse for the punter. the sad thing is for years otc in the shop is going through the floor yet nobody seems bothered. sat to say if exes are going through the roof and turnover through the floor. it will soon be last man out turn off the lights. ps have a look at gvc shares over the last 3 months have a good day regards Ronnie. |
By:
yea ronnie the shops are finished, its very sad what the games ended up like but what can you do? the tracking online of punters has so hard to get a bet on,you can gamble but you are not allowed to win, very fair game dont you think

found it interesting, but to say that he adapted is a bit rich. the man openly admitted that he only survives on inside info, which i think most people could that, people who study the form, do the videos, can survived on their own merits, the only trouble they have is getting on |

middlemen are no good to me
By:
he admits he gets help started from nil now a millionaire i think nobody would mind getting second hand info if they ended up a millionaire only problem you could get on back in the day its a bit different now
By:
sounds like he's won the lottery to me
By:
putting on for pro punters does not make you a pro punter, it makes you a putter on
By:
I ain't seen it. So maybe bit critical. I,ve never backed any information I had from a kennel. Live n die by wot I think. Probably less n less people u,d give a dog to these days
to put 1 by for u. Wen I first started in kennels we used to swap a few over with paddy Hancox from Midlands. We were a gambling kennel. That's wer I first learnt to do a dog. U couldn't get away with it today. No dogs harmed. Best of everything. Great times. |
By:
he don't put it all on from pro punters trust me they know a lot of well known owners who mark their card
By:
To be fair some of the stuff u could use then u can't now.
By:
I don't doubt it doc
its just that the video introduces him as a professional punter, which I haven't seen any evidence of |
By:
correct wonders the title wrong
By:
he seems a nice guy who obviously has done really well for himself, even though hes not making his own informed decisions and opinions hes still betting his own money so i would still say hes a pro punter even if he needs information to be one,i would rather back my own opinion every day of the week but maybe hes not very good at it but if you can get your car marked and do really well then good luck to you,the interviewer is brilliant and a like the honesty.
By:
was told at a very early age never turn down free money
By:
he seems a nice guy ,
its funny how someone can form some sort of a opinion without knowing the person personally |
By:
its in the wording ,( he SEEMS a nice guy ) ,a bit like you dont seem a nice guy

By:
you are not wrong
By:
what difference does it make if he puts on for people. the man has made his money and must be cute.i know plenty of good judges who aint got to bob.good luck to the bloke.
By:
1) I think Dean came across as up himself and lacking in humility and humour - probably wrong, media means little.
2) He is a pro punter. You can be the best dog judge on the planet by 20% ROI to the next man (probably Jesus Christ) but you are no pro punter unless you turnover hundreds of thousands and make big sums. Its a bit like saying the guy who wins FIFA 2018 video game is better than Mourinho. The proof is in the eating. The best pro punters are those that make the most money. Being the best `judge' is completely meaningless. |

exhibit 1.
Tommy is an amazing judge at Perry Bar. The whole track and anyone who has ever met him respects his opinion above anyone else. The problem is he aint got an arsehhhle. His max bet has always been £100. He earns about 15k a year and still lives with his mum despite being 55years old. Meanwhile his best mate Jimmy doesnt know the difference between a greyhound and a husky. But Tommy tells him all his selection every morning. Jimmy sets up loads of online accounts and has a little team who get on in the shops. He spends all day turning over money on Tommys selections. He makes £125k a year just purely through that. He has his own house, snorts whatever drug he wants, smokes any cigars and orders the top brasses in the vacinity. Who is the best Pro punter out of Tommy and Jimmy? |
By:
I would say Tommy is possibly the `worst' pro punter on the planet.
By:
i am pretty sure that scenario plays out all over the country
![]() |
By:
Surely this is the difference between pro punters and most punters, the pro must bet in high enough amounts to make a living and the Tommy punter is happy with his lot. Dean uses his information to the maximum and has no scruples about fleecing the books(not that i blame him). Guts to place big bets is the most important factor in pro betting, i would like the bookies to have the same attitde.
By:
Captains example is a real good one, however all Tommy need to do is grow some and tell Jimmy unless you paying me commission fck off then he gets years wage paid without having to worry punting, Jimmy killed his cash cow otherwise.
Hangers on will cost you, need to be a horrible arrogant **** and kid the fck out of everyone thinking your doing no harm with the type of bets your placing yet doing serious long term damage and nobody can work out how... not a team sport is it ![]() |
By:
Reminds me of what was said to Jerry Croxford when he was cracking it off in shop one day.
The manager said to him " I cant take your bets any more you are getting information" Jerry reply " You C""T I AM THE INFORMATION" |
By:
Hope Jerry got some 'Drinks' and didn't just tell everyone just for an ego massage like most do ![]() being told your a top judge etc etc from people who cant win off their own accord is not worth being 100 bags a year worse off is it... |
By:
i take my hat off to anybody who started with nothing ended up with a very nice house with wife and kids and a millionaire don't matter how he got the information he used it to the max i thought that would be anybody's aim when starting off in gambling for a living
By:
Just watched them there, fack me that's a grim story about the young lad from his road
![]() |
By:
sad to say pf many more stories like that now because of fobts
By:
Aye sure I see it every time I'm over in the UK the amount of money people drop in them, it would be the same over here if we had them, sure it's bad enough the amount people drop betting on every single virtual race that go off every 30 seconds over here. Sad really, yes there is personal responsibility but then the bookmakers have to take some responsibility as well.

Hangers on will cost you good post czech, agree 100% hangers on, middlemen...they have no intrinsic value fair play anybody who makes money from bringing nothing to the table, that is a skill in itself |
By:
many say jerry is the greatest. I DO AGREE with the "whats the point of being a great judge and got nothing to show for it" why do so many people dislike jerry? is he a wrongen?

lol yep fair play to him. Sounds like a rag tag bunch that all possess certain strengths and qualities yet couldn't operate successfully as individuals ?
control and composure hes spot on tho, judge yourself on your bad days that's what separates the real winners |
