Nice draw for Jelly Flood - wd czech, could've been a lot worse.
Don;t see what any of the Bullet boys have to worry about.  Bruisers has three dogs he'll beat down and Bullet murdered Bluebird, out middle, last time.
Wildcat and Verve both in great shape, Biker should get a great pull round from Innocent and Black Farren is draw-anointed at present.

Hounds had plenty of wet sand on faces in some those heats. Another hazard d ?

I really feel for Brandy, it would appear it gets drawn in the quality heat every round.

U cant avoid dogs forever metro.u gotta bt m sometime. I agree he could av had easier heat.

A major test of endurance for everyone of them on this track, 3 races 8 days? Too much to have any confidence betting them?

Over the moon with the draw for my 3 main players with good slots to operate from and they've all avoided each other! 33/1 Verve, 33/1 Wildcat and 66/1 Biker

Happy with verve last night. Lost nothing in defeat. Beaten by better dog on the night. Long way to go yet n many pifalls ahead. Need bit o luck with the draw. Think nxt round verve good make up. Fear maybe end of road for calico ranger my each way play. Need a huge slice of luck in his heat.

He not the same hound with company, but relatively luck with draw all along so far.

Bruisers just shades favouritism from Wildcat but considering their races in the 3rd round, think Wildcat should be clear favourite. Bruisers every chance behind him over c/d in the Shoot Out, too!

I know I must be missing something but think Loyal saying not an easy heat and I agree. Bruisers got best draw can hope for but might not go the pace and in trouble?

Glasgow, like you say, heat 7 some race. Heat 1 loaded. Whoops seems to have an early enough race again seeing as supposed to be bad in kennels, fastest split coming up on fastish ground? Elvis and Wildcat to have something to say about it too

365 up for 3rd round heats!

In twenty two Uk races Bombers Bullet has been out of the first three only twice.  Sixteen of those races have been opens in which he has been out of the first three only once.  So his consistency record and his ability to overcome adversity in running is second to none in this race.  Good judges acknowledge – and of course you’re not included here soups - that he is running better now than at any stage of his career, and as a middle runner finds himself well placed in T4.  Please advise why connections should be “worried” about not qualifying here, in third or better, with such a c.v., arguably the best in the race.

Bruisers Bullet has raced at Towcester fourteen times, always in opens, and has been out of the first three only once.  He is acknowledged to be a better dog around Towcester than anywhere else, and, like Bombers, is in the form of his life.  He is at least as tenacious as any dog in this competition and his ability to overcome adversity in running is second to none in this race.  On all known form he has five lengths in hand of Swithins Brae, four lengths in hand of Rising Brandy and two dogs in the race who simply can’t improve to beat him.  There are two dogs he is almost certain to lead down to the first bend and thus run up the back straight no worse than fourth and he is certainly equal best stayer in the race. T3 holds no terrors for him.  Calico Ranger will never be in front of him and certainly won’t back run him.  Again, please advise why connections should be “worried” about not qualifying here, in third or better, with such a c.v., quite certainly the best in the race to do so.

A “poor” draw for either of these two dogs, imo, would be in a race with the likes of Dorotas Wildcat, Borna Gin, Bxxxxxx Bullet, Droopys Verve, Innocent Times and Whoops Jack.  Five bits of ferocious early pace all wanting the first bend might find either out – neither has that to deal with in their heats.

Now I challenge you soups.  Do something you have never in my experience ever done on here.  Read each race, and in giving us your conclusions on how it will be run, publish something constructive on this forum for the very first time.

Loyal, dont think so much worried as concerned. Both have obvious favourite's chances but in the case of Bombers, it's such a competitive race and half of them wont make it. Cant rule any out, imo

Re-Bruisers, seems obvious too no problem of qualifying with a clear run but will he get one? Think he's going to be behind a few early and it could be fingers crossed at the bend

But looking at other inside runners 2 be moving middle
Which I think turbo who won well from red in first rd

Re-Bluebird, doesn't seem to run two races alike these days. Sometimes runs the bends and sometimes a bit gingerly

270 miles round trip drive, better check the oil and water. Makes it feel like Sheffield's run in the back garden!

Of course they're concerned woody, but no more concerned than in other owner with a dog going and certainly not more concerned than conns. of all five other runners in each race.  If Wildcat can run round alongside Brandy then I'm sure so can Bruisers.  That's if he has to.
Anyway, thanks to fattie for his most reasoned, and reasonable reply, to my very reasonable question.  As for soups - he's gone awol, after yet another bit of the bitters, and looks like dodging the challenge.   

Couldn't resist a couple of bets

Nearly 6/1 double Whoops Jack and Droopys Biker. Reckon Whoops will have the legs of Sporting Dave early, kick on and plug on okayish to score. Think Biker only needs to turn unscathed again to land the bet

12/1 Distant Rain, each-way. Has degree of speed and reckon a shade better than market suggests. Might do the Verve/Distant 'cast on the day, too

Loyal, if youre sure about the Bullet dogs, 7/4 apiece with Laddies and a shade over 15/2 combined, and that's without boosts!

droopys dresden @ 5/1 was ridiculous !! plotted on the rails with 2 leading up and going middle. will be inside farren at the turn and get the tow from elvis. 5 and 6 will be take care of each other out wide and it all comes down to whether red fetches in the blue jacket. im on ew in case it doesnt so bet for nowt.

Woody, my argument/discussion about the Bullet dogs is in reference to their qualifying chances, as was the original point made by fattie.  It's nothing to do with their win chances on the night.

Loyal, your Bruisers getting backable at 15/8 (Sportsbook) now. 11/8 Rising wrong favourite imo. After all, Bruisers got 4 lengths in hand over him judged on last run

Distant Rain clipped into 10/1 now (not quite as attractive ew now) and done the 7.2/1 Verve 'cast as well, as said

Although drawn tother way round, Bruisers showed more early pace last round than Rising, who needs one his 5.16 splits. Having said that, still think Bruisers an inconsistent starter but 15/8 could be good enough with a .32 spot cushion

Jaytee Taylor is lame and don't run, watch your bets, bookmakers still have him in race
