Just wondered what peoples opinions are on this very fast dog. Is he a potential derby winner? A flawed genius? Its a debate not a slagging match. He won the select stakes in a strong renewal drawn red. He won the shootout at towcester. He won the derby plate. The last 2 races were a 3 dog race and a 4 dog race. Do u think he can win the derby?

Obviously, he could win the Derby. As we know, trapping his downfall but despite last night, very few would live with him to the bend, then kick and stretch. A major Derby player, imo

Think he may be vulnerable in early rounds woody. There will be a lot of tactical seeding. If he gets an adverse draw with dogs goin left an right an he has of his not so good breaks will be in trouble.

Wont always be drawn so wide with Elvis on his inside. Early rounds weakest. I wouldn't worry too much! Wink

he is vulnerable private and draw dependent to a larger degree than may seem obvious to those Ferrari watchers although it will be those punters the lays come from.......lets hope he is blessed with draws as dogs of his ability deserve glory that outlives them........

I,m with u winja. He,s very much draw dependant for me.  Theres no doubting he,s a super fast dog. I just think he will need a little more luck than some of the others.

do people think any dogs around towcester will break every round no chance it depends what luck the dog gets when the missed break comes

100% doc. Thats his achilles heal. In 6 races i think 3 or 4 times he wont break level. Large ammounts of luck required.

Wildcat reminds me a bit of Bandicoot Tipoki - tremendously gifted as a pup but prone to misfires.  Tipoki matured and Wildcat can do the same.  I agree that early round draws are all important to the dog but thay are to them all really.  For me he has the class to go deep and even make the final.

Elvis run straight from 3 and wildcat was not clearing and wouldn't of with an extra 20 meters, agree not a railer

Even Wildcat can start better than that. Next to nothing will hold him to the bend. Thought a couple might like Kilmore Lemon if entered but that's injured and Hiya Butt retired
