Question for you Ravage. Which track has the longest home straight/run in - Towcester or Shelbourne Park?
By:
Well naturally I would say shel park but as never been
Although it's obviously a loaded question I believe the winning line at shel park is a good way from the first bend, not sure if your meaning fourth bend to winning line? Though if you are saying the a straight a Towcestor is longer than a straight at shel park I would be amazed And to me you could argue that shel park is slightly to big as I do not like the position of 550 yard traps can be a lot of trouble at first bend The 600 yard start is a much fairer run to the bend |
By:
In my opinion it is. You have to take a view on where the straight actually starts - and that's not easy - but Towcester's straight is about fourteen strides and SPk's about twelve. Check out a couple of top dog races and see what you think.
By:
You can't use that method
As everyone knows Irish dogs are much faster than English dogs ![]() |
By:
OK then. Use Clares Rocket at both.
