He doesn't have to know how to price a race up, it's just tapping on a keyboard, any keyboard monkey can do it

Good luck to the kid. From the link it would appear SIS are selling their betting shop products and he may be involved with that pert of the business rather than betting. We all need a leg up now and then and I hope this is his.

Nepotism at work again, as his aunties and uncles are trainers.
Surely could never survive otherwise.
Advised he will still do the odd shift for rpgtv.

Question for you Ravage.  Which track has the longest home straight/run in - Towcester or Shelbourne Park?

Well naturally I would say shel park but as never been

Although it's obviously a loaded question

I believe the winning line at shel park is a good way from the first bend, not sure if your meaning fourth bend to winning line?

Though if you are saying the a straight a Towcestor is longer than a straight at shel park I would be amazed

And to me you could argue that shel park is slightly to big as I do not like the position of 550 yard traps can be a lot of trouble at first bend

The 600 yard start is a much fairer run to the bend

In my opinion it is.  You have to take a view on where the straight actually starts - and that's not easy - but Towcester's straight is about fourteen strides and SPk's about twelve.  Check out a couple of top dog races and see what you think.

You can't use that method

As everyone knows Irish dogs are much faster than English dogs Silly
