Awful news,RIP Ozzie taken far too young.

Sad news. Am I thinking of the same chap that used to do the commentaries on the cable channel L!VE TV?

will never forget the last day of MOD doing the internet comms, 1 of the last races he called for MOD there was a screw who challenged and wouldn't go past and he said something like "why didn't it win, coz it was facking about that's why" LIVE on radio mic up etc and he knew it

awful awful news,an absolute star of the coms game,spent many an hour listening to his great coms(and plenty spent wishing he was on the mic whilst some m1nge called mine home in front only to find it was actually 3rd when the results came through)

God bless him and his family.

Just seen this......what a terrible shame and what really sad news......ozzie was no age to read of his passing.....I remember having a laugh with him at crayford on a monday night just before he moved up north......he was like all of us at the time...struggling...juggling but with a passion for watching and backing greyhounds.....a really nice fella and I am sure he will be missed by family and friends......I remember that commentary wonders....the bags racing was certainly more fun with people like ozzie on the mic.....RIP Oz...too soon my friend too soon.....
