Sometimes tracks help a trainer grade on by holding inter track races. Maybe that has happened rather than a competition?

Heard that the Henlow trainers were up in arms as P Clarke's dog's were 2-3 grades better than the Henlow dogs who were lower graded dogs. They done the same inter track a while ago  made up of 3 races with Frank Gray when at Towcester supplying the dogs. I was surprised the GBGB allowed it to take place as none of Grays dogs had ever had a trial around Henlow and with 3 of F Gray's dogs in Traps 1,3,5 and Henlow dogs in Traps 2,4,6 welfare issue imo.
All to allow Towcester dogs to get a run that week because towcester couldn't find a race for them at their home track.

3 races supplying 3 dogs in each race not one trial between them at the track Bollox imo.
