The big names like Domino Storm, Forest Twilght and Droopys Two under a cloud so betting could be interesting. Got a lesser known one and one flying at present in mind but same heat

Image Carranna stumbled start but still rushed up to join issue at the bend before clobbered, most unlucky. Very much one to follow, imo

Nothing between heat winners Domino Storm, Office Flirt and Aghaburren Pippa on the clock. Just one pip, that's a short head, separate them

Will make another choice when betting revised

Report woodmanchester November 26, 2016 2:04 PM GMT
Didn't need a second invitation for Baldie's stand-out 8/1 Domino Storm. Last year's heroine, bolted out and looked more like her old self when fastest first round winner. Only 3 bitches have ever successfully defended their Oaks title going back to Queen Of The Suir 1932/33 and Domino has a fine chance to become the 4th, imo

The each-way hope is 33/1 Aghaburren Pippa. She impressively barged her way past useful Ballymac Deidre Thursday and it looked as though more to come from this strong-running type

Good luck!

Isnt it funny how the longest threads on this forum are due to woodmanchester being slagged off over his betting or his ridiculou attention seeking

BETFAIR CANT YOU JUST BAN HIM ?
Report woodmanchester November 27, 2016 7:59 AM GMT
The consumption of alcohol may create the illusion that you are tougher, handsomer and smarter than you actually are
Report garryc November 27, 2016 11:48 AM GMT
he should never be banned irish as he obviously loves greyhounds but he should leave out his tips as nobody with half an idea about greyhounds would follow his tipping advice,ie that solid 9/4 forecast in a 6 dog race which as usual was a loser plus every other tip the other night ,if he just left out his bets the forum would be a better place
Report patrick starr November 27, 2016 12:13 PM GMT
saying/asking for someone to be banned says more about the person asking garry
Report garryc November 27, 2016 12:39 PM GMT
the forums all about questions and opinions patrick  so no need to ban anyone unless they are totally out of line, if you where a poor tipster would you keep putting your tips up to be ridiculed? i dont think so,which then leaves just atttention seeking which is what woody is after.just leave out the stupid  bets and all will be good on the forum
Report Winja November 27, 2016 5:20 PM GMT
don't forget woody was part of the gravy train until for whatever reason he got off......in the same league as Errol....Donaldson....Hobbs....all about first and second favourites....loves a mug double...treble....acca....both straight and forecast......and when they actually get a winner are so shocked they want to be carried around like bobby moore with the world cup.....that's him.....we all know it.....just let him post.....we already ignore the nonsense and its killing him......what did he post the other day about wanting respect....I prefer to read his nonsense over the posts that pick on him....but he has definitely got a problem....probably requires electric shocks to the brain or something to cure him.....
Report woodmanchester November 27, 2016 8:34 PM GMT
Winja, I might have worked for Racing Post and Press Association but I worked like stink for my salary, no perks whatsoever. Don't know about the lads benefits nowadays. I picked one dog at the start of the Oaks and two for the Essex Vase. Really don't know what's wrong with that? As for the 9/4 'cast, I would do the same bet if the race was re-run. Don't forget, I'm not a professional punter and not really in it to make money, that would be very hard after deducting expenses going racing but nice to have a winning bet now and then. As for mainly going for first or second favs, I like to see the best/fastest dogs winning and they should in clear races. My main bets are antepost where I often go for large priced dogs
Report woodmanchester November 27, 2016 9:02 PM GMT
PS Odds at track 8/11 Image Carranna and 11/8 Greenhill Gem so the dividend would have been about evens. Therefore, 9/4 'cast could be seen as value, couldn't it? Gem won by 3 lengths and pretty sure Image would have beaten it if not stumbling

Lots of water under the bridge since the start of the Oaks but my records show got 8/1 Domino Storm remaining and 9/2 Hiya Butt in Laurels

Report woodmanchester December 14, 2016 12:33 AM GMT
Domino Storm to smash and Twilight to miss a bit. Twilight crashed second round last year where there was only one winner in the final

Oscar Junior strongly fancied but maintain Whisky better, faster and Derby third Hiya Butt only needs a decent break to lead up and win

7.11 Don't se how Cream Of the Crop can be an 11/2 shot. Would even have 9/2 Aclamon Dodo in before the two shorter ones Woodys Antigua and Swift Carter

7.26 Think 7/2 Swift Asbolos better chance than two shorter ones Farloe Raider and Poolie Roy

7.43 4/1 the field for a 3-dog race in my book fair enough. Carnegie leads and if stays, wins

7.59 All very competitive but snaffled the 5/2 Droopys Trapeze

8.16 At much better 7.6/1, think I'd have Holdem Bernado to chase home Rubys Rascal instead of Shellam Delano

8.51 Droopys Lucinda paceless and ran like a drain last time. Runs Vue well but think I'd be laying at 4/9

Good luck!
Report The Falcon December 14, 2016 1:14 AM GMT
Twilight never quite been same since injury, probably 2/3 lengths off best but should still win with that draw, would have won if attacked either bend last week and will just hold lead at first and pull clear down back tonight. Old days would be 1/3, should be near evens for me tonight
Report woodmanchester December 14, 2016 2:09 PM GMT

I'll be there, albeit with the prawn sandwich brigade, and I'll try and get you a signed photo of Julie Collier, or would you prefer Jonathan Hobbs.

If anyone is in the financial mire after the Oaks final I would suggest a getting-out bet on Shaneboy Nora in the final race, the A2. Should be 5/1 on here, if there's any liduidity left.

Be lucky.
