another one bites the dust, no dogs, no people, the game is goosed. Wishaw, Carfin, Ashfield, Falkirk, Ayr, Kircaldy, Cowdenbeath, Wallyford, Coatbridge, Tranent, Dunfermline, Denny, Corbie Wood, Powderhall, Albion, Carntyne, White City[Glasgow] oh when I was a boy. cheers.

I never realised the Scottish area was the same as the rest of Britain with the decimation of the sport. That is a tragic list Bairn. Is it pressure of housing development or just lack of funds due to diminishing support?

safari, it's a mixture of a lot of things, young people are not interested anymore, too much entertainment elsewhere, especially the t v, people are too lazy to go out now, I used to go to the dogs 5 nights a week, their were plenty of bookies who would take a decent bet, evening greyhound racing was the only for a gambler to go, that has all changed now, you can sit in the house watch the racing in comfort and get better prices, paid out instantly with no problems. it's a no brainer really. I don't think racing will ever recover, especially in the cities, you know the reason for that, immigration. cheers.
