Looking at the results, I see Mr Simpson often has three runners in a race, a consequence I would imagine of pressures of availability. Accordingly if the track is that reliant on a single trainer it is not surprising they would be treated with an element of flexibility. Bad situation with the shortage of Greyhounds. Reminds me of the Construction recession in the 90's where work was drying up but following trades never realised the extent until it was too late. Breeding needs to be encouraged by the supporting bodies before it too becomes too late.

The game is drawing to a close. The only positives for many years is the Towcester set up,they are the only thing moving forward the rest stagnating or dropping off the scale. It is hoped when Towcester get on the ATR screen it gives the sport the boost it needs.
