really looking forward to this years event,have had a little antepost bet on hove ew with sitters considerably weaker for the loss of frank gray and rommers weakened with the loss of jimbo in their group I fancy them to qualify from the group quite strongly.

looks like they are relying on claude for the visit to crayford

romford got the friday opens which hurt them don't like the team for crayford thursday

hove and poole using 2 trainers for crayford only hope the trainers get more diesel money this year it's a long way from poole

its a weak group but hove barely took part last year

also when they made the final the previous year I was on them e/w and they were woeful on finals day

I'm massively pro this comp but the format is so disappointing...it just goes on and on and on and on and on like woody boring as feck
it needs to be bang bang bang, 5 weeks of qualifying, every group completing a leg in a week
also a straight knockout comp to begin with please, that way eliminate the tracks that can't be arsed with this comp and believe me there are a few

hove have got a lot of work on to qualify from there

Problem for Hove is every year its Romford Crayford and Poole which are tracks just not suited to the majority of Hove dogs and its probably difficult to coerce owners and trainers into taking decentish dogs to run at these gaffs

yep that is a factor but they have been woeful at sittingbourne as well

realistically how many trainers at hove have got genuine minor open race dogs in their kennel?? bar CG I can't see too many

If you want to get in the Towcester camp, you can have 3/1 with Billies now

Most of the hove trainers can't be arsed travelling

And reckon the whole bags comp is a total farce

Yes I went they were very poor

They have quite a few trainers and dogs now and racing is pretty competitive
But nothing like the quality they used to have, it is just a BAGS track now, with a few open thrown in

Dean Childs has settled in at Crayford now, he wont come back, not that Crayford performed well either yesterday
