Id be very happy getting rid of betfair if the prices online and in the high street were lay able to 500/1000+ - at present with rpgtv and streaming if one of these firms done it properly, got some good guys into do the prices theyd get a good business and customer base going.

betfair has ruined all sports with the cheating
|
|
By:
Better than nothing would you want to take the shows from the tracks where they bet to 140per cent and if 2pound comes up near the price they go shorter
|
|
By:
only the greedy to blame OP
|
|
By:
Can't believe the sport is there but the bookmakers aren't supporting it properly. This game could easily be a world beater... seems like the bookies don't want it to be....

turnover on greyhounds always has dipped when there are other big events on

Yer it seems better now the footy nearly finished

I take it back liquidity is awful
You can't back a fav at a decent price now It was 5/4 blackrose Paul shocking price That fook I priced it at 2-1 and no bet |
|
By:
very sad...but greyhound racing is very much a minority sport now
I expect us to lose more tracks The less liquidity the worse the value...which hardly encourages anyone to bet it becomes a bit of a trap |
|
By:
It was 5/4 blackrose Paul shocking price
That fook I priced it at 2-1 and no bet you made it 2/1 and it was 5/4, what r u moaning about, do u expect every dog u price up to be bigger on here? |
|
By:
That's rich coming from mr moaner who slags off b365 ever other day
OK it was one race but it's now the norm Blackrose Paul 7/4 bf 5-4 Blackrose glenn 9-4 bf 13-8 Blackrose buddy 7-4 bf evens That's three examples just at henlow No doubt your come back with some clever sacastic comment |
|
By:
if the dogs you are pricing up are going off shother,
if u are making dogs 2/1, and they are going off at say 5/4, what is the percentage of winners, if it more than 50%, then maybe u should lower your price |
|
By:
one other thing,
i make dogs 2/1 and BET365 go 3/1, 5/1, and even 7/1...yahoo victor, thats why i get annoyed becausei cannot get on |
|
By:
LOL
That what I am saying as well We are just comparing different sources of prices |
|
By:
I got an email from BET365 today saying
bet365 is committed to Responsible Gambling they are committed to that all right, they won't let me get a bet on at all ![]() so you cant say fairer than that |
|
By:
B/F claim they go over the odds, but when a dog is fancied they are usually under
As per usual the punter is shafted But higher liquidity would help all round, they would take more of a bet or in fact a bet at all |
|
By:
if I made blackrose paul 2/1 and it was 2.32 (BSP) to lay on here I'd be hitting the pink button not coming on here moaning about it
![]() |
|
By:
It's what the regular layers on here make it that counts. At least you will see a far better percentage market on betfair.
|
|
By:
If that is the case it is ok, but it is often the one we want to back that frustratingly under
On the BAGS at Crayford and Hove it will go 101 - 105% if one does not want a lot on I don't have much on myself, I don't know how the bookies have the nerve to ban my bets. |
|
By:
Being a punter first many years ago I did not think like that
A few years ago I might of laid something like that wonders But if dog wins I get rather miffed So now I just study the card And if I fancy it bets at a certain price and if I do not fancy it lays at a certain price I don't know change over |
|
By:
that's fair enough ravage...was there not a bet or 2 in the race tho if you have a 5/4 poke that you make 2/1 or was this a dog that you wanted to back for a reason but didn't because you were rightly price sensitive?
