Hello

I was talking the other day about greyhounds and a question came up with regards to the dodgiest race you have seen. From a flapping background I've seen a few but I can remember a while back someone put a link up to a race from Wimbledon where Chris Mosdall had two or possibly three in the race and they were so clearly drugged it was untrue (think one died after the race?)

Can anyone remember the race?

without doubt, can't remember what year, but a race won by Souda Bay trained by Paul Young at Walthamstow in a low grade 6 bend race at Walthamstow. I remember being 19/20/21 at the time… dog opens up 6/1… bet on every board (when you could get a proper bet on)… next show 2/1… bet on every board (when you could get a proper bet on)…. next show 6/4… (bet on every board when you could get a proper bet on)… next show 4/5… think it returned 4/6… trapped out in front when it had never led a race if i so recall… won double digit lengths… there was booing from the 5th bend to the winning line from a lot of the punters there… not long after this Mr.Young left/was removed i think from the Stow… will never forget that night, about the late 90's.
