Kevin Boon complained about Jocks seeding after his dog had a slight bump at traps latest and the racing office changed it against the trainers and owner of jocks wishes.

Lets hope boons dog doesnt get drawn outside jock later in the comp when he moves off at the turn as he often has from an inside draw off a run up throughout his career.

You are kidding? He went moaning to the racing manager after he actually changed it. Down the years all the wrecking balls he has allowed been seeded shockingly wrong (that Bright Redcliffe yoke that was seeded rails that handed Taylors Sky the Derby for one)  and he changed Jock as another trainer had a whinge he got a little bang at boxes

I am sure Noirs Allen's connections are delighted having Blue Cafu inside him in 1 and to a lesser extent Blakes Turbo's connections having Calzaghe Billy inside him

As i understand it,Boon complained about jocks seeding, whether or not the racing office were already looking at it and that was the straw that broke the camels so to speak or they werent looking at it and as a result of the complaint did look at it i dont know, either way it doesnt seem like tennis to me,at least it wasnt john turner that complained though,we'd have had to have a complete re-draw then.

No real surprises for me. Jock very short, Turbo dogs might do fairly, while Freddie and Alex to go okay at prices

Thanks, not surprised with Jocks price looking at rest of field. Hiya Butt looks a bit short 6/5 as thought 3/4 would have a bit to say there. Think the bitch in H7 might be over priced at 9/2 5/1 if she got loose on 2/4 and a bit of bother and i was taken with Rocky in the last as i think theres a length or two more out of the clock with him. Ive seen worse Even (Lads) moneys pokes than Rocky being top Pup as the others could all easily go out in the next round and he surely should take his place in round 4.

fats ive not seen prices I've not even done the card but year on year i find i have millions of bets first two rounds its where i think there can be a huge edge with rating value of form differently, but come the third round onwards, i tend to have very few bets, because the form is out there around the track with dogs running at current levels and its a lot easier for me and an odds compiler to be in line on a lot of the dogs. first two rounds we have a difference of opinion on nearly every race and i don't mind that i back my opinion if I'm right I'm right if I'm wrong I'm wrong, don't get it right all the time nowhere near but enough to make a bl00dy decent amount of coin out the game.

i would fully expect others to see what i put up and think I'm having too many bets on a card, and on a graded card i think they'd be right, same dogs same track, but opens, different form different tracks, comparing, sectionals, different traps, its far easier to find discrepancies imo.

Ht 1 Brogan not certain to fly again and Old Joe excelled last time, so at the probable best prices, Blue Cafu to start better and nick it for me

Ht 2 Not sure Latina runs two races alike, so Dutch the one. Can ping occasionally, also

Ht 3 Obviously, looks between Ballymac Matt (who could break again) and back to form Sanchez, with shade below par last time Billy up for final qualifying spot, ahead of leader Bubbly Turbo

Ht 4 Plenty wanting the rails and Jock needs to be on his toes. At the prices, think will be sticking with pacey On Alert

Ht 5 Domino to lead with her usual break, get first run and hold Jaytee Jet

Ht 6 Freddie moving inwards so fear for Peregrine Falcon. Butt dream draw and we know now he doesn't have to bolt out

Ht 7 Would really love to see Roddick and Eden in the final. Not expecting Roddick to come out like a spider on eight legs here (Fatty Wink Laugh) but easily maybe different story in the decider and class to overpower vast majority Saturday. Eden worthy Derby fav in my humble opinion, fingers crossed for a clean race. Listen needs to run the race of her life

Ht 8 Not convinced Rocky will be so well away, doubt he'll lead again and happy taking him on short enough with Clondoty who likes rails but could offset draw with a brisk start. I still don't trust Boyneside

Good luck!

Thought Bockos Bolaise was hue at double figures.

Jaytee Dutch does not want to be in 1 for me, can see him wanting to move off and where he goes on the corner who knows bug both nights he has been looking to go middle to wide on it. Droopys Turin I could see out trapping him anyway and taking the rails from him or pinning him to the rails, Droopys Latina in 3 has not been trapping at Wimbledon and will be going for the rails as well, I think he may struggle to outtrap Droopys Turin and will add to the congestion on the rail. Bubbly Torpedo has not been showing enough at boxes or run up so cannot see him being a problem early and California has not been trapping in the curved boxes, he charged the traps at the wrong time last week, if he gets his start right he has a fantastic draw. That leaves Bockos Bolaise in 4 who wants to be rails as wel but with everything inside him looking rails and the chance of them coming together he may just get the clearest run of three to the corner and if California again does not get his start right he could lead around, then if Dutch or Latina get helps up which can I think is a strong possibility he could be gone and not for catching.

Problem is I heard the trainer seemingly say they've been working on a muscle problem with the dog all week so that's left me in 2 minds what to do now.

have half your stake on PF you have to. You're aware of the negative and you're going into it with your eyes open - a lot of times these things are overplayed - jaytee dutch was supposed to have had a terrible preparation and huge drifter in the first round - often think these things are exaggerated and the value can be with siding with them.

although you're a big boy and I didn't need to tell you that Wink

similar to me betting boyneside other day. you know what the dog is like and if he pulled himself up then it wouldnt have been a surprise..... but if he was straight forward he would have arguably been 4/6.

Just gone for two BOG bets:

5/1 single Cafu
Nearly 7/1 double Dutch, Butt

Only played one tonight, Alex in the 9.06.
Though Rocky could miss it from inside draw and allow Alex to lead round, tkae a chance at 6/1 with Fred.

It's all about heat 2 for me tonight for all the reasons posted in my 06:31 post yesterday

Bockos Bolaise @ 10s and 8s (yesterday) and will be looking to play on here today

California @ 11/2 and 5s

H1 - with 5 over 3 will be against 1 and 6, 5 to blast out and theres no eden to hunt him down, 3 going along keeping quiet doing it own thing, get a run ?
H2 - can understand why 4 considered big at 10/1 but im against 6 for the lot, think 1 will beat 3, been impressed with both
H3 - looks a match, both 1 and 4 flying, big against 2 tonight was very diss last week
H4 - 3 looks a cert with a level break and no trap rise shermozzle, cant make a case for 4 getting a run
H5 - with 2 over 1, putting it up against 6 as believe 11/8 is too short with all this pace on left to get the run it needs with neville southalls galore
H6 - initially said 1 was too short 6/5 but 13/8 is very fair, can do it with a smash or even a moderate break with its great draw tonight, cant have all this for 6 at 10/3 in the week, my loser
H7 - think top over priced 5/1 11/2, 4 is obv class and i think he might get a run on the bitch down the back, slightly against 2 and the 3 rags
H8 - think 1 is a fair go at 6/4 although questions asked about its box, very impressed with it last run and open to more improvement as a puppy, bang against 6 here

Good Luck All

found it really tough tonight and have played 3 races.

8.16 have bet imperial express. i probably have this very wrong but there is so much pace on the inside of this if he can stay out wide he might just get a line to the bend and lead with jet following him around. thought 25/1 and the like he was worth a few quid ew, i rarely bet ew but happy to do so here.

8.51 have bet droopys roddick. couldnt be more impressed with eden the kid but you just feel at some point roddick is going to run a monster and knowing how hazardous tonights draw is, i can definitely see a scenario when pat lets the handbrake off tonight.

9.08 thought clondoty alex was huge. i bet lenson rocky last week because i was confident everything id seen about the dog in ireland would suggest he would break better from 3 than he would from 1. tonight he is back in the red box and i can see alex leading this. 6/4 boyneside last week was the right time to bet in my eyes, not 6/4 tonight.

good luck.
