8.02 Crayford - PHAT MARY - T4
2 Points win @ 5/1 (Betfair-BOG) Our selection looks ideally drawn this evening to ping out and make all over the six bend 540 meter trip at Crayford. Phat Mary has recently returned to the track following her seasonal break and she should be approaching peak fitness now. The key to the race is the break, lead round and it's race on. 8.58 Newcastle - SHELLAM MAEBY - T2 4 Points win @ 3/1 (Betfair-BOG) Our selection looks a youngster to follow over six bends in the coming months and if she avoids an early bump she can take this race. The odds on favourite (T5) will be hard to beat if he gets on the bunny but Airmount Paco is a little inconsistent at the boxes and a missed break will open up this race for us. Shellam Maeby has been catching my eye over four bends recently, she's been flying to the drop, now stepped up in trip she could be special. Don't expect to see Shellam up with the pace early on, if she turns a handy third or fourth and within striking distance it's race on. |
