Good site!
Wandsworth
Unfortunately the first major headline to hit the track was in 1936 when rival gangs fought a
battle in front of thousands of witnesses and one man was murdered after being stabbed to death. Shocked

West Ham
There was a magnificent two tier stand accommodating a remarkable 80,000
spectators with a smaller stand able to hold a further 20,000 bringing the capacity for the stadium up to 100,000. Shocked

Crayford looked a bit bigger, must have shrunk a bit

The builders found a human skull 300 years old when excavating the original stadium

perhaps Greyhound racing started sooner than we thought

Heartbreaking the Destruction of the City Sad

And a load of old bollox about building a new stadium on the Scrubs Sad

Yes I am sure the prisoners would have approved of that case
must be easier to escape from a Greyhound Stadium than a prison

But the destruction of the City was heart-breaking and so many other tracks too...we could have saved them if we wanted
just some modernisation, I see Crayford £350,000 not that much

We have abandoned Greyhound Racing to the wolves, as in fact we have done with the whole country imo
