If it's tried, think Jaytee Jet a more likely Leger winner than Teds

Sure they ain't doing no wrong, the mouth of twatter obviously thinks it's a 20s poke to come back to life and win the comp otherwise he would never have it quoted that price

Draper's good prospect and unbeaten in his only two races over 6 bends, Glenpadden Ace straight into the Leger betting at 10/1. TBH, think that's a bit too cautious really. Runs over 660m Sheffield tomorrow night

Ace made no mistake. Yet to tackle anything of serious note yet but still unbeaten over 6 bends and won last 3 races by an aggregate of over 15 lengths

Thing in four both races looks a leger dog to me !
Couldn't understand how they made it 9/2 poke
After that second rd run for its semi Crazy

Now have a small play to see if I was right about the dog

Heard it's a tendon with Teddy, so surely cant be ready for Wimbledon in time, Leger starts Oct 24th. Expecting a shake-up in the betting, so if you got a sound dog you fancy, get on now!

Piles of deadwood from what I can see. Would be surprised if anything 20/1 or bigger antepost actually wins, that wipes out 3/4 of the field! Laugh

Personally think there are a few exceptions to that statement, monitoring but can only see Hills betting so far

Been backing Roxholme Dream, 4 times at 7/1 since January and happy enough. Millward Teddy recently picked up an injury and doubt will stand up to the rigours of racing

Best prices I can see so far:

6/1 Roxholme Dream
7/1 Millwards Teddy
10/1 Romany Rouge
10/1 Fizzypop Buddy
12/1 Droopys Cottage
12/1 Diego Flight
12/1 Swansalona Diva
16/1 Droopys Tamera
16/1 Glenpadden Ace
20/1 Bar

No Hoff but still plenty of my fav dogs in the Leger this year. Liking 16/1 Glenpadden Ace, 20/1 Deanridge Pennys and 33/1 Swift Curie in particular

Thought Roxholme Dream always held the upper hand over Millwards Teddy last year and think it'll be the same in light of Teddy's injury risk

Will mention 33/1 Fizzypop Magic, each-way. 41.49calc might not be far of the winning time this year. Beat Buddy on merit there and that's much, much shorter

Teejayspowerhawk, Wiki Waki Woo and Racenight Jenny reached the semis last year but may not be good enough again

Good luck!

I.e dream they smashed the magic in the betting
Last few weeks , very unlucky with her coming into season I wondered why she wasn't added
If I was to play a fresh pat bitch I'd play 14 or 12
Dream fitness as??
Teddy fitness as??
Rouge well not won a race since last king died , ??
Buddy thing that's stepping up in class
Mossvale can't win unless it leads it doesn't stay either IMO
Cottage is she leger class ?
Deanridge dog no trial almost knocked over last time rd ?
Viking does it stay ?
Diego does it stay ?
Ace does it stay ?
Tamera looks a golden jacket type bitch ?

Lot ??? Marks to me

I've backed Diva mostly at 10s as it was the only friggin way i could get on but i still think she is big at that, honestly i don't see anything to be afraid of with her. The top 2 in the market have had their problems it seem, the likes of Romany Rouge (never wins) and Diego Flight (will it stay, can see it being like Romany Rouge tbh) would not worry me, Droopys Cottage i thought was interesting but then i can't see any juice in her price, Droopys Tamera is flying but this is a big step up to what she was beating at Crayford over further, i cannot have Deanridge Pennys at all (shocked it's even in it), there really is not much else i would consider backing. Of the bigger prices i thought Jimmy Nailed on was a fair enough price but 14 (w)s in the comp dampens my enthusiasm.

C'mon Diva Love (named after her owner clearly)

cheers for kind words and good wishes lads ExcitedHappyLove

kev says that 6 bend trial took it out of her for a couple of days, she was actually to trial on the weds before but kev got caught up in accident on the m25 and 5 hours after leaving the kennel had to turn around and go home so werent ideal prep tbh (huge thanks to gary mathews at the don who heard what had happened and went out of his way for kev to be able to trial on the friday evening) but we hope we've done things right in the build up and kev really couldnt be any happier with her, shes in great condition and is positively bouncing in herself, never quite sure how they are gonna come out of a season but we've done what we think best to prepare her for what has been her target from a long time ago, hope it proves a great comp and gl to all connections! ExcitedHappy

Been looking forward to this event for months
Just hope rouge can snap out his non wanting to win ways
can't play at evens that's for sure tonight got my ante interest Mossvale with him
Same heat 11-4 was interesting but just hope to watch them come home in first 3

Main play tonight mowem down 9/2 been nice money spinner for me last few weeks
Think she can keep going , just think the field around her won't stay

Also little play at 7s knockbawn caviar , just thought if diva wasn't truly 100% well so could be little under that still win
Played caviar at Newcastle other week made me Cry getting done on jam stick can't see how he won't take a huge lead
Than it be about getting home
Going to save with diva cast
Gl to your bets

Agree Fatty, looking forward to it but not betting on the heats tonight. Got enough riding ante-post. Roxholme Dream would return a ton but would be happy with Glenpadden Ace or Deanridge Pennys mainly. Our Irish expert doesn't fancy the latter. True, didn't shine at Limerick but produced a 28.37 trial in prep for a crack at the Derby. Unluckily bumped out third when only two qualified there and ran well enough when last over this trip Irish Derby final night. Thought he was worth a stab at 20/1, especially if getting starting routine polished up

Good luck!

He done a good trial in May is immaterial imo, he is now pushing on 4 years old and quite frankly i don't think he ran that well Derby final night, 41:86 on a track that was absolutely mental fast is hardly that good a run, look at the other 750y race on the night, it was an awful race a DD0 in name only and it shows his run was hardly great. The dog has not won a race since he won the Derby Plate in 2014, i probably would not even back him at double the price however they'd have known connections will back him so not put him in too big.

I would love to be wrong as would be delighted to see him win it for Pat but will honestly be shocked if he wins it or even is there come final night

Thanks for that. I know Deanridge Pennys from old. Great deal of ability on his day although as you say, not getting any younger

Really see this Glenpadden Ace as the main danger to Roxholme Dream, if Teddy fails to fire. Shade doubtful at first, but has moved up in class good style
