Rockinghorse - a charity supporting care for sick kids - have cancelled a planned fundraiser at Hove because of sickening threats from the anti brigade

http://www.rockinghorse.org.uk/news/a-statement-from-our-chief-executive

If you're feeling generous, please make sure they don't miss out by donating here and show them that we care

well done all ! (at last a viable response to the anti's idiocy) NOW can we move on to the Gymcrack, the Derby week of death and the major task of greed over greyhound welfare.Plain

Irish why do you have to be such a plum so much of the time? Back to the point of the thread, well done Dave for highlighting the situation and thanks to all for updating the position. I have made a contribution and I hope they get beyond the £5K.

Great to see my stalker back , thought he'd got away there for a minute Laugh , no doubt decrying me whilst the battle with the antis rages on .

I seriously think this is a great stepping stone for the sport , and shows if greyhound people stick together they can overcome any adversity.

(The challenge is not the anti's though ,its making the sport safer for the participants. )

many thanks.....it was a great race as well with her doing the bumping to get past 4 and storm on.....she broke her leg last July and the plan was to retire her once the cast was off following the operation to fit a plate but she came out of it so well we gave her a trial in January and everything was fine with no reaction to the plated leg so she had a few 4 bend races before switching full time to six bends with the consideration of the racing office and it seems a long time since then to get her a win.....she has been knocking on the door.......it was nice to eventually find someone home....
