who can remember derby greyhound stadium

I used to love Monday nights there for the opens. Ray Andrews and Windy Glade springs to mind. Won every Monday for about a year, or so it seemed.

Strange setting within an old prison IIRC but proper friendly locals and a cracking café.

Doug Kenney was my trainer but we moved to Nottingham when he did.

Remember passing by it (near Friargate bridge?) but that was before had any interest in dogs.

My dad ran it for  nearly 25 years.
