how fast has Wimbledon been running??

Racenight Jenny 28.33 and 28.45 trials over 480m Shocked bloody heck when did she become capable of that over 4 bends and that's after having a litter and all
Report p_r_e_m_i_e_r__f_a_n_t_a_s_y October 21, 2014 2:38 PM BST
that's some heat Blackhouse Heidi is drawn in, where is she likely to turn with Chicago on her inside, Rearguard Bond and Farley Rio on her outside and Droopys Bear in there as well

Airmount Paco on the other hand has a much easier heat and looks to have little to clear on his inside to go around in front
Report FATTIEWHITEYSLOVEADRINK October 21, 2014 2:49 PM BST
1st 3 with Heidi all you want
It's a good heat I think it's case of them worrying about her IMO !

Ballymac Bonnie is too big for me @ 20s, still a pup this bitch could be anything over 6 bends and has already shown a really good level of form over a trip.

She has come from off the back to beat Sidarian Lisa over 750y at Shelbourne, Sidarian Lisa goes into the 750y final at Shelbourne this week with an absolutely massive chance, she then on Derby Final night absolutely hacked up over 850y, the most impressive thing this night though was her 18:84 split which showed she is not devoid of early, to put that into perspective on the night Geelo Vegas won the sprint in 18:59 and Bonnie went quicker than everything else in that sprint, she then went for the Droopys Stud 730 around Waterford and was massively impressive in both heat and semi coming from off the pace and picking up Woodbrook Golden and then demolishing Sparta Katy from off the pace before getting trouble in the final.

The obvious problem is that she has not been around Wimbledon but if you look at the make up of the comp there are only 19 unseeded runners out of the 48 entered which is pretty unusual in this day and age and quite a few of those unseeded i would not give a prayer too.

The other one i like at the prices is Chicago @ 25s. He has proved he gets a good 6 bends at Hove over 695m and he showed he runs Wimbledon well in last years Puppy Derby (why did i bring that up again!!).

The long run to the corner should be right up his street and i can see him going well clear in his races here if going around the bend in front, he looks to be finding form since leaving Romford which patently did not suit and looks overpriced.

cannot have blackhouse heidi at all

for a strong bitch she is not great at picking her way through dogs...I'm not surprised she ran a big figure on the skin but she doesn't have the early to lead leger dogs

Think 14/1 Romantic Rambo has been the forgotten dog, although only beaten 2 lengths by 8/1 fav Millwards Teddy in the Yorkshire Leger. He runs the track well, did the clock and if coming away as he sometimes can, will take all the beating. Know I've mentioned a few but only small stakes at the large-priced ones, each-way too for a bit of insurance
Report penzance October 21, 2014 9:56 PM BST

Apart from respect for Millwards Teddy, gone against top end of market coz not sure about Touch Tackle/Roxholme Dream, King Kane over-rated, don't know much about Ballymac Bonnie (but would have to be very good), Airmount Paco will surely struggle to get home over this trip, Bubbly Gold unreliable and Chicago big hike in class proper six bends, then the ones i'm interested in:

2pts  Barefoot Agent, gets 42pts
1pt   Jet Stream Duke, 34pts
1pt   Billys Bullet, 34pts
0.5pt Blackhouse Heidi, 30pts
2pts  Romantic Rambo, 30pts
0.5pt Killieford Khali, 30pts

Into it for 7 pts so far and just to prove, you can pick lots of dogs and still come out well on top, as with the Derby

PS The Leger suits strong stayers better than your speedier types

Good luck!

Report FATTIEWHITEYSLOVEADRINK October 22, 2014 11:12 AM BST
Backed Sugar Ray to win £50 at 25/1 but doesn't go, running in the final at Shelbourne Saturday, unlike Barefoot Agent who hopefully side-stepped that event to come here and not through injury, coz got him at 20/1 now

Others, 33/1 Billys Bullet and Jet Stream Duke, 40/1 Blackhouse Heidi and 66/1 Droopys Dave.

So basically, giving the top 12 in the betting a miss but respect Millwards Teddy

Totti tremendous pace but rarely led til the third bend, Bradley was all-round firepower

Even outsider Lowgate Topaz capable on occasions

Great deal of interest antepost. Think the exchanges under-rated Millwards Teddy at 10.5, so available mi sen of it this morning. Other main hopes Barefoot Agent, Jet Stream Duke and Romantic Rambo

Done an ambitious Yankee. 11/10 Roxholme Dream (won well 6-bend debut, plenty of potential and ought to follow up), 9/4 Barefoot Agent (enough speed to go well in Irish Derby and stays, do for me), Evs Millwards Teddy (matured into a fine stayer and a more than possible outright winner), 3/1 Jet Stream Duke (some fine efforts round Romford. Could be anything over this trip. Winning runs could be just round the corner.)
Acca alone currently paying 52.6/1 (BOG)

Other heats, very small pop 5/1 Lowgate Jasper against a couple higher rated in the market. Want Romantic Rambo to do well but tiny interest 14/1 Droopys London, each-way. Everyone seems against Blackhouse Heidi (given no hope at 66/1 outright) and true, remains to be seen if Newcastle form can be converted to Plough Lane, so shilling or two 9/2 Farley Rio could be good here, if best foot forward. Think Airmount Paco will be going nowhere quickly at the business end, so loose change 9/2 Killieford Khali, 3rd in the final last time, pour moi

Good luck!

Woody this is another porky isn't it ?

If you go by what you say above you also invested in Sugar Ray and Droopys Dave as well. Its not the fact that you pick lots of dogs to "come out well on top" , even though you have difficulty picking one to come out on top, its the fact you lie through your teeth day after day.

Tyrur Sugar Ray (you said you'd bet and he didn't make it)
Barefoot Agent
Jet Stream Duke
Billys Bullet
Blackhouse Heidi
Romantic Rambo
Killieford Khali
Millwards Teddy @ 10.5
Droopys Dave

you never mentioned on this thread about taking the 4/1 and 9/2 Roxholme Dream or even the 10s and 8s Millwards Teddy but i will take your word for it

Now you have also bet:

Chicago
King Kane
Farley Chicken

The comp was only 48 runners and you're up to 12 dogs now

some of your quotes on this thread:

So basically, giving the top 12 in the betting a miss but respect Millwards Teddy.

Apart from respect for Millwards Teddy, gone against top end of market coz not sure about Touch Tackle/Roxholme Dream, King Kane over-rated, don't know much about Ballymac Bonnie (but would have to be very good), Airmount Paco will surely struggle to get home over this trip, Bubbly Gold unreliable and Chicago big hike in class proper six bends

Going Majorca for my birthday so will miss next round. Also miss Limerick. Dare say will get a bet on there before i go but Wimbo-wise, hoping Millwards Teddy, Romantic Rambo and Billys Bullet qualify. Also Jet Stream Duke but doubt he's the outright winner

Now i said i would take your word for backing Roxholme Dream @ 9/2 and 4/1 but if you ask me it is damn right rude only telling your legion of followers about her at those prices when she is now a best priced 11/8 Plain

And if she is turning a nice profit you must be a bloody magician, David Copperfield would struggle to turn a good profit on this with a 9/2 shot after the above.

You say people have a go at you but you are not helping yourself, adding in bets you say you've had (that you never mentioned previously) when dogs become short priced favourites as semi final / final stages and constantly aftertiming (no idea how many winners you aftertimed last night between the Crayford Hurdle thread and the Leger thread)

Actually into it 9pts counting Sugar Ray, but got over 5pts going Teddy averaging about 10/1 and about 7pts going Roxholme 9/2, plus 2pts free bet on her

To my calculations that's 21pts, totalling a return of about 50, is it not?

Actually had 2 more pts Teddy at 5.5 and been topping up 40/1 Khali with coppers coz original bet wasn't as much as 0.5pts as you said

As I said:
Teddy £60
Roxholme £50
Khali £30

Where is 1 big fat porky after another?

As you can see unless youre blind, the winning position isn't "bowlarks"

Can you see clearly now or are you still blinkered trying to make me out as a liar?

As woody only bets in buttons I can not see why he would have the need to lie

So I believe him probably the only one on here who does though Laugh

I had a few 15 quids on but only got 37.50 for each one Cry

Cyprus, Malta, Fuerteventura same price

Some half-board. Takes some doing to filter out the decent hotels but I try for sea-view and half-board. No suitcase. Hand luggage only. Sometimes 3, 4 or 5 nights. That's what keeps the price down, along with fly Manchester or Liverpool
Report woodmanchester November 9, 2014 3:20 PM GMT
Same price Gran Canaria bungalow. PF, just searched flying from Dublin. Dozens and dozens at £85 Nov and Dec, many rated 4-star

all these coppers then you start a thread about the Kent champion hurdle at crayford but fail to mention you've had what would be for you a monster bet of £15 on a 10/1 shot that's a palpable returns 5/2 and then to top it all off on the Newcastle thread you copy someone else's bet then come out with a classic on 1 of the races did 6 get up for 3rd for my tricast on the nod pure comedy gold IMO Excited

tbh you're copper jar must be facking  huge the amount you throw about on virtually anything that moves tbh I'd cash it in there must be thousands in there Cool

Edging and supplementing bets Patrick. Just playing around with loose change. Did say I had a cunning plan about the £15 job. Didn't say what coz didn't want the alarm bells ringing and not get paid out. That was serious for me

I cant believe what he did .... 15 quid on a 10/1 palp aftertimed ... lying idiotic aftertimer Laugh
Report woodmanchester November 9, 2014 11:08 PM GMT
Didn't aftertime Blackjack Bullet and Hadrians Wall was obvious really, imo
Report woodmanchester November 9, 2014 11:12 PM GMT
So, what did I actually aftertime. A coppers tricast? You can lose hundreds at a time if you like but I don't. 3 losing bets last night but makes no impression on the money I won previous night, palp or not. 888 have paid out on them before, like James so I was quite hopeful

Try walking in my shoes for a month. Sure it would be an eye-opener for you

Or, failing that, come round for coffee and you can see all my bets struck profit/loss in black and white
