Something's happened internally. Just had to agree to new terms and conditions. Basically, the statement says stuff about the holding and transferring of funds and Gibraltar but apparently, nothing's changed with my account.  Don't think it's a take-over just the way the finances are run but i don't understand the politics of it. Bet your bottom dollar it will be a cost-cutting exercise

On 9 May 2013 the Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Bill was introduced to Parliament to bring about important changes to how gambling is regulated in Great Britain. The Bill received Royal Assent on 14 May 2014 and is now referred to as the Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Act 2014. The Act requires any operator wishing to transact with or advertise to British consumers to obtain an operating licence from the Gambling Commission and will come into force on 01 October 2014.

Bet3 5 announce Gibraltar move

By Bill Barber 1:54PM 29 SEP 2014
BET3 5 have announced they are moving their remote gambling operations to Gibraltar, making them the last of the major betting companies to move offshore.

The company said they had made the move following a review of their structure and having decided to make Gibraltar the hub of their licensing.

Bet365 will retain their presence in Stoke-on-Trent where they are the city's largest employers and the company said there would be no redundancies as a result of the move. The firm's gaming business has operated from Gibraltar since 2007.

A statement from the company said: "As part of the reorganisation, bet3 5 is augmenting its existing presence in Gibraltar, a jurisdiction that offers a mature and stable environment for international remote gambling operators. Bet3 5 will now operate its international betting businesses under licences granted by the government of Gibraltar.

"Bet3 5, which currently holds licences in various territories including Great Britain, Spain, Italy, Denmark and Australia, will also continue with its long-standing policy of pursuing licences in regulated markets and the bet365 Group, as a whole, remains committed to playing its part in helping to protect the integrity of sport.

"Aside from the staff relocating to Gibraltar, the Bet3 5 Group will retain a significant presence in Stoke-on-Trent with other existing bet3 5 employees remaining there in order to provide various contracted support to the Gibraltar operating hub, including software and technical support, outsourced customer services and contracted marketing services."
