Some interesting runners going to traps, including at Hove where Millwards Teddy (smart Puppy), Musical Gaga (classy TV Trophy winner) and Forest Gavin (race set up for him now Droopys Norris withdrawn), all with outstanding claims, treble paying fractionally shy of 7/2
7/2 Sidaz Eagle won his maiden okay, has to improve again but his best Irish form more than enough
Laurels third Underground Paul has obvious chances but never been a big fan and i'll be watching only at the short price
Evanta Evita won a good Summer Cup easily enough. Improver and must keep on the right side of a bitch in form. Wont get rich at about evens though, so gone for the Droopys Cottage f/c, paying 15/2. That's much bigger than other main contender Hoof It Katie
Best odds 13/8 Your Decision, 5/1 Kielduff Blitz but the latter has beaten the former twice recently, close ties and could be the value
The finale is well worth waiting for with 3/1 Jaytee Lightning back to form. Not easy against Sidaz Pedro and Cathys Clown but race worth a small interest, imo
At Monmore, Moss Lane Sue has a couple of recent verdicts over 7/2 Coologue Smokey but this 684m could see a turnaround with Smokey not able to go with the likes of Ballymac Chosen and King Kane early but coming through strongly
5/2 Mays King looks decent to me but going for good 13.16/1 payout on the forecast with Primo Brett

every week seems like there's the most aggressive rails bias at that track
its not like Wimbledon, one lap of the bowser changes the whole evening, once it goes inside at hove it seems to stay there, looking for puddles now
meant monners irish, hove is more difficult to assess when its all opens
I remember when jason heath was on he suggested that when it rains it goes rails at hove, not knowing hove that well I dunno how much truth there is in that whether its selection bias at work or there's any factual evidence to prove/disprove
wouldn't know what weather does it but there have definitely been occasions where it was insides all meeting and they couldn't do anything about it, so that seems plausible

I have been going greyhound racing for 40 years and that commentary by that Clark person is by some distance the worst I've ever heard.

A few races and "Inside again at Monners" on the back of two or three races. Noticed 5-6, T4, 3-6, 4-5, 5-6 and 3-6 in the last 8 races. Phantom bias that isn't there. Makes the statement look silly. Like I say, nearly always coincidence. Try concentrating on performances rather than the lottery of trap numbers
