Mind The Net ...... another Mutts Silver

I have him at 200/1 PF
Nearly shed a tear when he got up for 3rd last night. If he wins the Derby I'd be so happy I'd even let him mate with me and have his pups! |

Mind The Net only needs to get round 1st bend and theres no danger.

Wouldn't disagree. Nemesis or Crokers worthy champs, if breaking free though, imo
|

Mutts Silver was essentially a sprinter I think? Phil Rees trained?
|
|
By:
managed to get a bit of 110s on Nemesis the day after Scottish Derby was given him by a good judge at the track and had more on at smaller prices but have backed Mind The Net at lots of prices from 80s down and now Spy has gone (still cant believe it) would love to see Scottish form upheld.

Lanza, correct with PR and possibly my favourite greyhound. I was at White City when he won the Derby (and backed him AP). I wouldn't say he was essentially a sprinter, but I understand why you would think that as he contested many (won many) and had very good early pace, but he also ran in the Gold Collar (555 yards). The Derby he won was a fantastic field. Good days ![]() |

Sorry, that should be addressed to LoyalHoncho !

Mutts silver was black face fawn sometimes not the best combo
But he was a very quick away 480 dog I think he won the Southend sprint race |

Late dear friend had the fav ballybeg prim trained by Ger McKenna
|
|
By:
noflapleft,
Yes, won the Southend sprint, also the Select and Silver Salver. Joint winner Greyhound of the year. I think it got knocked out of the following years Derby in the semis. |
