Bit of an improver . Kept getting beat A6 , A5 Romford . Comes from of the pace Wimbledon Derby trial stakes , sluices in 28.43.....coming forward or what ?
More and more, as all the bigger names went out, I've looked at this Derby and thought a big-priced, Tartan Khan type was a distinct possibility as the winner. TK was a moderate dog in the January, indeed had been jettisoned by White City as not good enough to grade, believe it or not. Salad Dodger has come from A6 and has qualified in much the same fashion, place, place, place. He would appear to need to improve but, at the end of a six-round competition, would he? He stays - a priceless asset at the end of such a gruelling series of races. Not at all out of the question that this dog wins it and best of luck to conns. What a thrill it must be!

Yes, must be a thrill. Think I was standing near Ballymac Loch's connections Tuesday and he looked a likely semi-finalist for a long way, before one of the party was saying, no, no, no, as Loch was run out of it home stretch. Changing fortunes of the game
