I acknowledge PF's point about destroying Clark who is only just cutting his teeth and maybe I did go other the top calling him a dopey coont for saying that Kilorigan was fighting.....however I know the owners and I know the greyhound and we both know why he is jumping for a living but the kid needs to watch properly before coming out with destructive comments.......he has improved 10 fold since first arriving on the scene and will continue to improve given the chance......RPGTV needs to put him on with experienced presenters and guests.....with Julie and the other fella on Saturday there was no experienced voice of reason.......

Jim Mcgrath's approach to punditry is helpful, he covers his backside by saying "wont be carrying my money though" on a reluctant selection he has been asked to make, or even the comments "not value at that price", plenty of other statements that can always be added in as riders. PL, JK, Hobbsy do the same. Personally I prefer to follow judges on here who come on after they have taken the price and express their well researched, well informed tips which seem to run well if not win.
With Dave Clark, I would appreciate the nap winning or the lay of the day being backed or laid by himself though |

So your beef is Dave Clark and the other pundits on RPGTV are not good enough and if you follow their tips you won't make money. Personally i prefer to put the work in myself, do the cards myself and then if i do my dough there is nobody to blame [or whinge about] but myself |

But what about the opinions about dogs that lose and then the people who put them up (no names) then come back on here the next day not embarrassed in anyway, don't go off to lick their wounds, usually blame the dog, don't re-arm and come back having learnt from the experience and done a whole lot more research/investigation before they tip another load of sh!te on here ! . They are well entitled to their opinion but they are also entitled to the stick, the ridicule and the pi55taking because they haven't put the work in and ultimately devalue the forum.

My opinion is that if you don't have an opinion, SAY SO, and just watch. It is garbage always having to listen ( as irish say ) to people picking dogs just for the sake of it.
How may races do we as individuals look at and say - not getting involved in that, or, we don't get a "read" on it?! It's pure drivel and the sound has to go off to avoid it. In fact, I am now only switching on/looking in when a race comes on where I have an interest. |
