1 and 3 got knocked over at the first 5 went around in front 6 took it up at the3rd 5 came again

The dog ran a great race and i even managed a clap at him as he walked his victory parade.Thought that was really nice of the trainer allowing the crowd to give him a clap.Makes them feel more part of it and tbh there are too may a******s out there who think they need wrapped in cotton wool.The punters loved it tonight,the dog loved it and im sure all the owners loved it.
I for one hope to see the Holdem dogs back next year for another tilt at it.Good to see all dogs got up and tbf the way the draw worked out trouble on the inside looked inevitable and wouldn't blame the track at all.Same goes for a couple of the dogs that never had a look round that either didn't perform or got trouble,imo a look is crucial at Shawfield.
As for the pictures going out there wasn't too much the track could do about that.The only thing was the dog turning back but to slate the track for that is harsh imo.

monmore always has staff on the bends so yes you can slate the track.

Don't think it would have made that much difference tbh, beeb. The dog ran as far as the winning line and turned back. Unfortunately he badly shattered his hock and had to be pts.

Great point case.  Just like the game holdem, you have to keep making progress and win, all-in once, when it couts.

It is phenomenal how well he has recovered from a career threatening injury.  Like the Swift Keith kennel they took no chances and have reaped a great reward - a dog as good or better, than the one rested!  It is like he is on wheels in a track the way he races round 3 and 4!!!

Nothing is guaranteed a place in the Final ,the dog would nearly have won the final if you actually take in his amazing performance picking up George on final night ,nothing could do that to George NOTHING .. He was desperate in Ireland and must have gone close

Bang on the money case.  Absolutely quality animal and anyone who doesn't see it is simply being churlish in my view.  I haven't backed the dog so have no axe to grind - but he is exactly what greyhound racing needs just now - a good headline!
If he makes the final - and it is a big if to be fair, not many dogs approaching their fourth birthday do - it'll be some performance!

I want him to, got 150/1 each-way. Not as big a profit as some but profit nevertheless. As things unfold, I could be rooting for him big-time!

just some firm i suspect entering the market. took the book percentage to 101 and iv got alot of the outsiders at top price so he was either laying them lower elsewhere or just standing a few to lose at crazy prices.  But i saw this last yr and lots of dogs have been laid at larger than bookie prices so its not a case of 1 dog going and only those odds drifting.

I saw the 17 for a ton there but iv been trying to get spy in the book now and even that didnt tempt me. I cant have spy at all. 

the person put up a few big prices and i was surprised with a few given odell withdrawal and calvin uncertainty.   I like the quick away types so took a few of those with a view to a quick trade.

Crokers and Ballygibbon both very fast and unbeaten in the Derby. Finas looks a bit of a rocket too but think Spy should overhaul at least one of them and at least qualify, imo

10/1 in the win market at this stage is crazy yet I wouldn't wanna lay a bean of him in the place book at 6 places 1/4 odds (not available now I know)

He needs good fortune in running now.  Whatever may be argued about the three races in eight days programme, it is desperately tough on the dogs.

I am just hoping he doesn't spend too much time dodging Trent, catching champ or king is going to be a different matter  !

For me the bet about Spy is whether he can make the final.  It is some ask to ask a dog who habitually has to overcome trouble to come through the field,and achieve it six times in a row.  It is a huge ask in such gifted and determined company.  This is the big week of his career and the biggest ever for his connections, I don't doubt.  Good luck - i hope the dog gets decent runs.
