when i was at the stow, i remember jim reynolds being told that there was money for one of his dogs on BAGS AND AWAS THREATHEN WITH THE SACK
jim reynolds said to the racing manager, chris page, what was to stop him putting money on another trainer dog and getting that trainer into trouble
no reply was fortcoming from chris page
you have to remember that on course bookies and especilly off course bookies want things all their own way

the on course bookies are just there to provide the big firms with a market,unpaid,these firms are parasites,

is deters people from going racing.blame the off course bookmakers entirely for the demise of dog racing as
we know it,yet you try getting a bet with them,(i will have to put you on hold sir)meanwhile price has gone and they
are running,take it(SP)or leave it.

any punter who bets on dogs in teh betting office should be forced to have a night in watching channel 212 on sky and compare the betting office prices to those on betfair............their mouths will be wide open...........i have never seen anything like it in my life. talk about jack the ripper.

Before my time it was illegal to bet and it was all about giving money to a "runner" to place your bet with a bookie...
Had to look in the evenings papers to see how you got on....
Along came betting shops, an audio service only able to cover one race at a time... Had to pay 10% tax
On your stake or your winnings...
Then comes SIS... Fantastic, your able to watch where your money goes, even better, they also abolish betting tax....
Now the firms often offer early prices and offers to compete for your business...
You punters have never had it so good in betting shops, yet you still moan!!!
