Despite very hot race for first round, backed 14/1 Slick Santiago for Derby. Think Hills only go that price so competitive is the first heat but Santiago always seems to do well opening rounds of competitions. We will just have to see what he does if qualifying. Always rated him smart though. Looking booked for next round are: Droopys Danneel, Droopys Odell and Daddys Knowsbest. Any of them could be much shorter once progressing. Saw another leading antepost player, Exocet, Irish Derby night at Shelbourne Park and looked very average behind Mall Brandy and Tyrur Amelia, although it was a hot race. Prefer to pass, imo.
Grand National, havent got a clue and wouldnt waste my time studying coz anything can happen in these races. From what we've seen Droopys Lorenzo the worthy favourite if staying focussed but at the prices i'd hazard a guess 6/1 Westmead Meteor better value. Maybe some old stagers like Westmead Melanie, Razldazl Will and Baran Bali Hi may go okay each-way at very large prices.

365 priced up. Evs Droopys Danneel (NAP). Runs the track as well as any dog and favourable draw with Special Release diving for rails and hampering the two inside runners.
At the prices, a couple set to go well at decent odds, imo, 11/2 Dinner Hunter and 5/1 Malbay Phanter.

Things really look like they are picking up at Sittingbourne---A 12 race OPEN card this thursday which does include semi finals of Kent Derby and Semi Finals Grand National.
I have a real fancy for MO REALTA FRANK.... Best price if 12/1 at present.

Two standout performance in hurdles
Last week for me mad mash snowy would of won got turned side ways in home straight good pace all round
So 10/1 few quid on the nose
Other lollylips what was that doing,
trap out well moved middle jump the first in the lead went into the bend got lost came out 4th
Thought he was different speed home straight trap one who tight rails Norse him up the straight almost knocking him out
50:1 taken and in six next to snowy where see what happens !

Dont think he'll mind my saying but fellow forum user Swayne fancies Exocet outright. He got me thinking and, although Exocet's been under a bit of a cloud, his best Hove form is more than good enough to succeed, so added him to Slick Santiago.
3rd semi Kent Derby, think draw all against antepost fav Droopys Odell and if about 6/1 Jolly Bullseye starts in best fashion, could be sporting to beat good track performer Droopys Danneel

A couple looking abit over-priced to me now are my Slick Santiago, at 4/1 and Regal Bailio, 12/1 eachway
Santiago non runner now. After such as Mall Brandy, Ballyhill Sub and Lemon Pumba, done my antepost dosh yet again, should be a law against it! Incidentally, Lemon Pumba runs at Hove tonight now, after not competing in the Northern Irish Derby

agree with woody about EXOCET on hove running...but that whole episode stunk to me, what with the dog taking off with a flying time then

His 28.79 probably tonight probably stinks as well. Don't under him a very fast dog and was running against a different class in Shelbourne.
of course we all realised what a fast dog it is sliproad....i just dont never fell in love with the dog due to the hove fiasco.

He has a new owner and trainer since his hove win. Has the GBGB not sorted that one out yet ? The person that is able to diagnose dogs the far side of the Irish sea ?
ok sliproad, i see he has a new trainer...i just assumed the dog was in the same ownership.
Everything crossed Exocet lines up for the final. Had far too many withdrawn dogs antepost from major competitions already, thank you

13/8 is massive in my mind...i thought about 4/5 best price.
Fair enough supporting card but dunno why they couldnt have accomodated the Seniors final live on Sky? All eyes will be on Droopys Posh over 6 bends but better watch out for dogs outside cutting in, imo
Done the tissue. No favvourite dogs really. Like Lorenzo but backed Meteor at the antepost prices and really want Exocet. In supporting races just waiting to see what's overpriced, imo.
No Realta Frank to nip round with trouble on the outside.

Would have been laying Kizi (not good in Scurry at Vue) at 365's 5/2f but seen Hills go bigger. Couple in the early races strike me as decent value already but waiting for all to price up. Couple of others fancy to go well at fair odds. Heard there's an issue with the Sittngbourne traps? Only having small bets anyway
Oh, the 2/1 Droopys Posh gone, top prospect. Could be a fine race against Blonde Razor with clean runs but looks like trouble to me in all-railing field. Watching only.

Baldie got a couple of interesting enhanced odds doubles: 3/1 Boomer/Bella and 11/2 Lorenzo/Exocet. Both worth a go. Would have said Newinn Rock big danger to Boomer but lacks a trial.
Elsewhere, dont know why Precious Script was 10/3 this morning. 5/4 and 6/4 in similar races over c/d recently and twice also recently had main threat Kizi behind.
11/2 Frettenham Flyer fair bit bigger than i had him. The Yarmouth Derby finalist's chances second to none, imo but competitive race.
