Once again on Thursday he put his lay of the day in his jackpot perm, that is so funny, its about as sensible as me inviting Birchy around for a dinner party, what with Julie laughing her way through the comms; it was horrible viewing, but the worst in the whole world was Tony Bullen tipping the 5 dog in the marathon at Henlow the week before, saying if it were a 460 race it would lead and win, and adding, im hoping it can hold on for another lap!!!!!

Hes a nice fella but an awful tipster bottom of the naps table I believe, that's why the bookies employ him as he increases profits. He picks the fav practically in every race.
And his lays of the days always seem to hack up |
|
By:
Would never make it pay .
Bet he is a nice lad but a tos$er tipster My mate the riddler f f s Big juicy need to join green peace |
|
By:
Flappy, you putting in a bid for Riddler's crown with that last post?
|

Ithink the whole show is rubbish and run by amateurs, should try and learn from sky when they show dog racing
|
|
By:
the sky show is a pile of crap now as well since SIS took over
and i ain't moaning b4 anyone says so and not blaming those on the show either, just stating my opinion - was obviously never going to be as good as it used to be with a reduced budget |
|
By:
don't know what people want
all run on shoe string ! but why care as long as we see dog racing at end of the day it won't last for ever! |
|
By:
dogs + telly = heaven
i largely have no idea what they are saying between races as pay very little attention |
|
By:
na i'd need a few added extras to make it heaven

Yer my idea with a decent lass and trap numbers attached to her clothes
And the winning trap challenge number she whips them off has massive potential Even I might put a £2 mugs bet on a trap challenge if it happens |

Think some posters need to take a cold shower!
. Bring back Newbum! |
|
By:
terry, hope you are well , just because millwall are doing bad no need to take it out on the show . we should be grateful we have tv coverage otherwise you would have to go to the tracks all the time!!!!. as soon as the lions start winning I look forward to you having good thinks to say about your pal birchy as well.

By:
LOL his lay hacks up at around 7-2 on here
His NAP at 6-4 nowhere And just to rub salt into the wound his NB at 11-10 is a dirty fing hanger that does not want to win His is absolutely clueless, you can see why he's employed by the racing post to select loads of loses so the bookies clean up |

I have met Phil briefly once or twice and he seems a really nice lad. I don't see their tv role as that of a tipster, neither for Greyhound or horse racing. He does the job perfectly well as far as I can see. He is passionate about the game and puts the Greyhounds' chances in a reasonable perspective. He's a very professional presenter imo, one of the best ones. I look forward to seeing some of you experts on the show! You might tip more winners, but could you talk and present the racing for around 3.5 hours?

There are elements of truth in what you say but if I am ever suffering from insomnia I just play a tape of Phil's monotonic ramblings and I'm snoring in no time. |

By:
Top bloke Phil. Never changed in the 25 years I've known him
|
|
By:
Anyone that puts a lay of the day in their jackpot perm is a complete and utter guesser, end of
|
|
By:
All he does is waffle about boys football, a fence sitter, Stevie Wonder could read a race better
|

By:
There's method in Phil's madness

The geyser may be a great bloke , but he gets paid to give us intelligent , analytical , well researched greyhound tipping advice and unfortunately he is failing miserably in that department.
|
|
By:
Must admit, met Big Phil Donaldson,a few times, always considered him to be an absolute gent, dont mind him at all on rpgtv.
|
|
By:
Yer I like Phil too he's a great laff, I mean even he's realises he could not pick a winner in a solo trial
Including his lay of the day in his jackpot perm was a comedy genius, espically when it hacked up That trainer bloke on Sunday was taking the mickey out of him rotten, was good TV |

How many winners did he tip
