seems to dying a rapid death by the day. Appreciate RPGTV might take away a lot of the interest to the evening...but the morning cards really seem to have collapsed in the past month or so. Has the office stopped playing totally? Even at Hove this morning, 10k a race seems a rare occurence and baring in mind it used to be 20 or more regularly...quite a sudden fall imo. Time for a rethink I fear!

That tiny amounts of money waiting on the spots is that, what concerns me. There is the same money on nearly the same odds on purple exchange now. Only the turnover is less there. Seems that some botters pulling the plug on Betfair's greyhound markets or whatever.

Yes, it has become virtually impossible to get more than tenners matched without forcing the price down (especially away from the front of the market)...through robots following or whatever. Making things a great deal harder for everyone I'm sure...need vibrant and liquid markets really to make a go of things.

I do the bags DVDS at Hove...have stopped bothering trying to trade Sundays altogether, and Wed afternoon is extremely thin at best. Time for a change of tac I fear..

the loss of Dogrobber and his marital tales and visits to the York railway museum are sorely missed by all I am sure!

Can you blame people for looking at options elsewhere.Premium charge has had more effect than some might think imho.

Laugh that's it lightbulbs

I've no doubt PC has reduced turnover on here bookie, the creation of RPGTV has been the big game changer for dogs though, its a much better product than bags imo and there is only so much money around + most people can't/don't want to bet on everything

i think bags liquidity would improve again if rpgtv finished,

but rather it didnt obvi its much better than bags Cool
Report wondersobright September 13, 2013 7:08 PM BST
PF/irish, you have both misquoted what I said - I said MOST people can't or don't want to bet on everything

look at the liquidity on bags, particularly on evenings when RPGTV is on, its pathetic

of course there will still be SOME turnover on bags, I am saying most of the liquidity has transferred to RPGTV races

+ eve czech Cool

BAGS suffer from a parasite, mainly from an infestation of bookmakers who own most of the tracks.
