Another Taylors Sky type draw for Eske, but on the other hand there's a large number of slugs left to the bend, so it's not surprising.

another bye for Eske
ran sheet last night i thought but i'm sure the fan club will hammer me for saying that - honestly thought he'd blow Stonepark Crash apart off the 2nd bend, both Islas Scolari and Droopys Ed Moses made up big ground on Eske ![]() |
|
By:
I don't think your wrong in that statement
I think the going cost me a draw either ew or win with crash I think he's got work to do thought snowy run well ! if eske don't break he have snow strom up the inside and back of a ally to look down and a spy to shoot him ! |

Seems 7 or 8 firms have Vic clear favourite over Eske. I must say, it seems a bit premature considering Vic's top class rivals and Eske's seemingly straightfoward task, in the quarters.
Vic is flying but not certain to lead Jet/Critic and if getting a knock, will need to look over his shoulder for the cavalry, albeit the finishers big odds. In reality, Vic will probably win, one or two ifs though. Only when he's won, i may have no qualms about his heading the market. Only 365 still make Eske favourite |
|
By:
maybe Vic is fav as Eske took forever to overhaul a short runner that he turned 2nd too on Saturday night - i wasn't impressed one bit until i read yesterdays RP and Birchy put me straight
Eske was only toying with themwanted to play Bittles Bar @ 4s but some fckrs took it all b4 me wouldn't mind taking the 12s Carkei Max too but that won't be allowed ![]() |

i've bet bonamassa rocks 7/2 on that draw and shaneboy spencer 3/1 in hope can hold warhawk to bend and lead all the way. will look to lay ballymac vic if i can short later and throw speculative darts at islas scolari and droopys ed moses, 50s about with firms, might get silly prices on here later and if the 3 early birds all collide at the bend (unlikely admittedly) wouldnt mind having the finishers at big prices.
with bonamassa, think he lads all the way, and although tango in theory has a nice draw on the back of it, i can still see him having to try and come through a dog or two and if he is held up in anyway at all thats gonna help bonamassa to hold on i think. airlie impact definitely turns right from 3, not sure if carkei max will break as smart from 4 and if he is slightly hesitant impact will do him no favours. also bet holdem spy at 5s. im honestly thinking spy is more and more of a machine every time i see him run. eske may well bang out and make all but 5s spy has to be bet for me. I am however, slightly cautious, in that he cramped in round 2 and this is a quick run so it is possible it happens again. also have a thought that if the quick run is not ideal for him, he might feel a niggle, get a bit agitated and do something silly, which i sincerely hope not - all that factored in i still think 5s is too big. on the undercard i've bet guinness dusty 3s and sinbad 7/2 although the latter's stamina i've taken a bit on trust. good luck all that play ![]() |

The intrigue with Holdem Spy will be how he reacts when coming up against a dog as strong as Ballymac Eske - will he see it is a bigger challenge or shirk the task and be content with catching Shaneboy Alley. If Eske leads the 1 & 3 as expected then he will be in front by the third bend and I don't think any dog in England could catch him.
.............or can the Spy really catch pigeons, as it were? Really looking forward to it tonight - let's hope Sheffield have the commentaries on with the pictures for once. |

Certainly nowhere to hide at this stage. Should be four tremendous races

Excellent stuff. Can see at least one biting the dust and I reckon it will be Eske. I see Alley leading and Spy chasing. I havent been impressed with Eske at all from off the pace and this is the first time he will have to lead or at least turn within a length. If he does it fair play to him. Hopefully they can keep apart and give us a proper race. Agree with Addy about the 5-1, it is silly, but am starting to worry that I agree with him or vice versa all the time!
Oh, just looked, dont fancy Bon Rocks so thats okay! Still only one bet, 7-2 Critic. GL |
|
By:
Oops silly me, really like Holloak Laelaps, just worried about the draw with 4 moving in. Unsure what to do but if the money comes for Sinbad as expected and he drifts a bit I'll play
|

If some told me 5 weeks ago I had bet holdem spy to beat eske ..noway ! But love his pace bring it on
