Sky dogs, Arc meeting - Swindon

Been having fun. Had some 9/2 Crusty Crab before 'Crooks ducked it to 7/2. Gemstone Jack the key. He showed an unhealthy interest in Ardkill Star in an Arc trial stakes and not being nasty, hope Jack keeps his attention on the inside runner again, leaving speedy old fav Crab home for the money.

Fancy 2/1 Sharies Miller quite strongly in the bitches. 9/4 gone but slight concern with Forest Dot on her outside in the coffin and set to cut in. However, if not too much early scrimaging, Sharies set to come through well.

Sprint looks between Chester Lad and Guinness Sky. Thought about the forecast but leaving it alone. Leaving Ding Hero alone too although very much easier opposition than he's used to. Just dont like the coffin draw.

7/2 Taranis Rex looks fair but would have been much more confident inside two other railers Scolari Express and Farloe Iceman. Rex needs to get round, may do so but equally could be trouble.

10/11 Ballymac Swift looks a gift to me. Good turn at Coventry and arguably the country's leading marathon performer, currently. Looking more and more like Aero Rebel can only run Romford and Swift is 1/3 in a place!

Fair price 4/1 Sawpit Sensation. He's not been in the form which saw him beat Taylors Sky, Farloe Tango, Boher Paddy etc easily in the Eclipse but he obviously has that kind of ability. Worth knowing he still has over a 50% strike-rate in this country and happy to side with him, despite some other good dogs in race.

Then, there's the final. Got 33/1 Longwood Bound and he nearly cleared Jolly Bullseye in a trial stakes race. Think he's got every chance now drawn on the inside of that rival and hit form at the right time. 10/1 Bullseye is fast and if starting well, hopes to land my antepost on him too. All seems to depend on Shaneboy Alley. When you think Droopys Loner was doing 2.40 splits last year, Alley's 2.33 in semis is impressive but needs something very similar again, imo
