I see Isabels Boy is having his first look tomorrow in a sprint, looking forward to it. PF or anyone, which is the best airport to fly into and where is the best area to stay close to the Don. Thanks in advance
We stayed in Hilton Croydon last year and the Holiday Inn Wandsworth the year before [was a lot closer i think], both where alright nowt special but sure you'll spend f all time in them anyway. I think a good few stay in the Antoinette Hotel.
Sure a few of the locals will be able to help ya out better.
sub 16.00 will do tomorrow

fly into Gatwick but don't get Gatwick express train in, rip off, change at Clapham junction for Wimbledon or haydons road station (a lot closer) there's a hotel at the bottom of Wimbledon broadway aint bad, doggy boys go into watershed nightclub two doors along I believe,HOTEL ANTOINETTE met hobbs there some years ago. Another thing we did a couple of years back is to stay on routes through Wimbledon train station like raynes park, motspur park out to Epsom or Kingston, then get the train into earlsfield station its about half a mile walk from there. That way is cheaper. Just up durnsford Road there are a load of BnB 's which vary in quality, done them some years and all, about a mile walk to stadium as I recall. hope this helps

first look, new kennel, hope they've got him right
however Priceless Sky went around in 16.06 [2nd look] and Money Talks in 16.12 [1st look] and in my opinion this lad has better early than either

I seem to recall Wimbledon station long walk to Plough Lane, taxi job? Dunno about Earlsfield. I used to stay at inexpensive b&b in Streatham and get taxi to track, not too expensive. I used to go sight seeing on Sunday and go home later, or in your case Chopper catch a flight back later, Sunday evening. Tubes get you everywhere and a day ticket is only about £8.

Think there is a Holiday Inn/Travel Lodge in Colliers Wood that would be good location wise for you lads, if you book up early enough i'm sure it would be dirt cheap.

I wouldn't worry about its first look PF, the dog will be getting trained to peak mid to late June and as you stated he has better early than the two Henn dogs. No offence to the lad in Ireland, but Dartnall is on a different level. Keeps his price at 33/1, just keep chipping away.

well i'm delighted with that time, would have rathered see it to see how he ran the bends
he clearly had problems during the Gold Cup [on the bends] and it was widely reported he had problems at the back end of last year

if youre flying in, i would definitely fly to gatwick. heathrow not much fun trying to lug stuff from, gatwick is a far more straightforward journey.
gatwick express not required. as irish says, get to clapham junction then short trip to wimbledon (literally 5 minutes i think). get a cab from there, less than a tenner.
as PF says, the leather bottle decent enough boozer, sizeable beer garden, and if its a warm day you'll be p155ed before getting to the track
accomodation i think pf done it alright. that hilton in croydon wont set the world alight and is abotu 20 minute cab away, around about 25 quid. that said, colliers wood is a dive, as is streatham (sorry woody), tooting, etc. i would rather stay out a bit where the air is cleaner and there is less chance of getting some disease.
happy to meet some folk before racing, met PF last year and spent the afternoon not having a clue what he was saying

Saw PF in Dublin and had a similar problem but i am a bit mutton. Usually handle the Irish accident okay but had i met Bookie for the Scottish Derby, sure that would have been a totally different story!
