I thought Glenpadden Post @ 5/4 in the 7:00 O'clock looked exceptional value but only the cleaners got that and I'm stuck with Evens. He ran off at the second bend last week and got stuck outside a couple of strong dogs, but he stays well and is certain to lead the 2 here.

Glin Hawk will be a biggish price in the 5 dog marathon at 7:15 and went well in a trial at Belle Vue on Thursday. Faces 2 dogs with major question marks against them.

I'm also looking for a good run from our own Sparta Brod in the third heat of the Constable Cup. He got off the mark in the UK at Sheffield on Tuesday but faces a tough task in holding Farloe Warhawks's brother (and his kennelmate) Many Are Called to the first bend. If he can do that we will expect him to go close.

Midway Nick was 11/4 with Hills.  Didn't last long though.  Should be about 6/4,

agree rocky looks one of the best bets of the night (should of left the gardening alone and got the 5/2) i fancy 8.45 t3 aayamabella 7/2 for  decent bet hopefully get a better run tonight also pt 4 in a yankee including 9.00 dream jockey(16.00 sec sprint first look) and 9.15 home town honey

aghaburren paddy best bet of the night.fancy three outsiders tonight glin hawk fridays dynamo and phoenix bolt.phoenix bolt looks the best of the three.and i will just lay all wallis dogs.we also have the pleasure of the greedy ginger one on the couch saying how hard up he is and hes struggling to make it pay and how hes so skint that he might have to miss out on his cruise and his two weeks in las vegas yawn yawn.

Ian - it's a hard track to weigh up.  As u say a few in each race that u can disregard

You said that last week kriskin, but I fail to see how you can make a decision like that after literally a few weeks on RPGTV and about a year without ? I am doing OK there but I know for a fact I have been lucky, there is not enough evidence yet to be able to make a valid judgement on bias, make ups or consistency.

irish - U make good valid points.  At present it's one track that I have to be very careful about when trading. I find other tracks must easier to read the form. This may change as u say over time.

absolutely loving the racing at coventry there, the fact its on rpgtv and the fact prices are about in the morning. if you cant win when the firms are priced to about 105 in the morning, or betfair prices that are huge close to the off, you wont win imo. bowtime regan got me the bubbly rocky money back and more last night at average of about 23. figured jazz apollo was going to go left, the top two in market might come together, bowtime regan great draw might get round and bet bubbly ebony similar sort of price for same reason with no red dog on its inner and laid front 2. also bet lilly in the marathon, they were my 3 plays last night, thought the winner swift ran exceptionally well terrific performance.

well done with swift, bet it last week wasnt totally convinced last night but it run terrific.

I see Addy. Still early. Obviously we are early birds trying to catch the worm. Either that or your still having trouble with the mother-in-law round . I know Regan well, no idea how it won that race. Thought Apollo 1/10 coming to the final bend.

tbf around the third bend i thought jazz apollo would win, but you know he is going left from the boxes, and i felt if regan did something like 28.40 last night, which it was probably going to do given the fact it was drawn for an absolute solo, it might well be enough to win if the fav and apollo tangle. the fav missed it which gave apollo the run to the bend, i was half banking on apollo cannoning into him and them both getting held up and with the draper dog on the favs inner, i thought laying 4/5 5/6 the fav was a good bet with danger each side. for those reasons as i say i thought regan might skip round or if ebony came away with no dog to clear on its inner it might skip round if 3 held up 4 at the bend or if apollo ran into fav from traps. at 20s+ you dont have to be right too often, taking short prices about favs you do.

The first book you come to from the underneath bar (is it Mark Allan?) didn't bet on the last few races.

By the way, I gave him £160 on the first 5 races so it wasn't my fault.

if we are after timing addy , I backed regan but by the time it got to him I was pulling my hair out. I think the posters on here who say there are two or three rags in each race that are nowhere near value are correct so far. I follow the outsiders as most on here know, but it certainly does not appear to be an outsiders track. only one dog knocked over last night, and a very safe and fair track, good luck all round I say.

To be fair both the odds-on hurdlers were a million in running and got up right on the line so the books were a bit unlucky but I don't think anyone should be complaining if all the races run true to form.

In other news, the sectional time for Ballymac Swift in the marathon was 3 lengths faster than the winner of the puppy race over the 450M.
