Cant see a thread?

Into the 2nd round and Hills bet:
6/1 Glenanore Dancer
8/1 Chicken Skin
8/1 Farloe Calvin
10/1 Holborn Junior
12/1 Skywalker Jet
16/1 bar

8/1 Farloe Calvin for me. Looks very fast and a fine prospect
50/1 Odyssey each-way, only peanuts. Lead many in this competition and would benefit from trouble behind.

Good luck!

Farloe Buddy was a bonkers price @ 33s - god knows who prices up Irish racing for billies

I think Gunite Basil is too big @ 40s but can't get anything worthwhile on with PP and can't be arsed going to the shop, Borna Premier @ 16s too looks a fair price

Plain had nowt on yet though

Huge crowd in Clonmel tonight, 7 bookies doing good trade, couple of gambles tried in the non-Produce stakes races, with the T1 in the early sprint a big winner for the books, although one of the more regular books layed off a monkey at 4/5, he just narrowly failed to reel in the 3dog....will post Produce Stake views 2moro too late now.........good steak still, though some fancies ones gone notably Glenanore and Conna Kingsmill.......Owen produced a really good 550 race winner, and was a super price as T3 was fancied in it as well..........

brilliant run last night by Holborn Junior, massively impressive. He was average away and badly enough crowded but forced his way through and showed good pace up but took a hefty whack on the bend and was tunred sideways but managed to get around in front. tied up a bot coming home but i was seriously impressed with him and his attitude to get to the front

Thats exactly as I saw it pf,having watched most of the races near the first bend.Lots of early scrimmaging as they came downto us, and he was almost knocked over at the first, but a tough dog, straightened himself up and drove on. Probably did tire a little but was entitled to, and got a great cheer from the punters. All of the four winners were impressive and its still in the melting pot. Woody's pick has a big chance, but I am going to go for Buddy to win out. More especially with the semi final draw T4 1st semi., but if he does qualify, and gets near the rail, he's the one for me. Holborn got T5 in the 2nd semi with Calvin outside him. No one really wants to be out there, even the wide runners dont want T6 Laugh. Looking forward to the weekend and just hope I will be left alone to do my own thing, Laughand get over to enjoy this prestigious event. The betting ring was like old times.

Yes woody a well done steak, with all the trimmings, McKenna, Holland et al....Wink

Very pleased my 8/1 speedster Farloe Calvin reached the final. As expected, he flies early and did well to qualify after Holborn Junior sneaked up his inside, causing trouble at the third bend. Can only really see Christys Bolt, maybe, upsetting the party. Good chance Calvin stays one step ahead throughout and wont get pinched back in the decider

Calvin looked to have it won and was counting my chickens until the run-in. Never over til the fat lady sings though and take nothing away from a terrific run by Christys Bolt. The eventual runner-up caught the eye also. Could have done with that win. Good race but licking my wounds

Calvin never got far enough ahead, he only barely lead around and even with the little trouble the winner and 2nd got they where always too close when they where 2nd and 3rd halfway down the back.

I wonder where they go now with Calvin, i thought Wimbledon would have been the place for him to go with his early but the long run home wouldn't really suit. Perhaps he will turn up at Dundalk for the Bar One Sprint.

Thought Calvin had clinched it racing away off the second bend but like PF said, the other two bearing down by the 3b. Calvin still had to be passed though, but no extra. Really impressed with Christys Bolt. Sure he and Calvin will be winning loads of races

Shame we will never see how good Ashford Castle would have became seen as he disposed of Christys handy enough in the big unraced stake down there earlier in the year.
