Liked George for some time. Warrior smart at best but flopped from traps in comeback at Swindon. Could still be a very good race

why does it just go to show you woody? does not give you a divine right to win? laid them both as thought 1 had a squeak and 2 was thought of as a decent animal, laying 11/8 and 15/8, 42 and 34% i think, not losing much taking them on with live runners in the race......

didnt see the race mate as left work just before the first hurdle race so didnt see another race and called the wife for commentary on the marathon, thing with the dog though is he is an eye catcher, i think he got so close last week because everything looked like it could win last week at one point, thought a bit of messing about up front, scrappy race, let it get so close. didnt fancy it last night at the price, i think the dog is going to be expensive to follow.
that said, wouldnt mind giving it a couple of weeks in the 859 marathon trip and see if he can get home, dec 10, might get a bit stronger especially if he runs the trip 3 weeks in a row.
if still getting beat and not getting home then it might be he'll struggle to win at coventry and hove 695 might be better? not sure he'll suit romford 750

it's a shame with decent marathon performers they put some of these s2/s3 longtanding graders in that just get in the way, and cause trouble, like some sort of HP race
