Who arent my players! Laugh. Think we usually have a thread for the British Open Fatty, not sure about the US Masters. Got a team of nine, tiny stakes, any winner paying about 13/2. Top 4: Adam Scott, Brandt Snedeker, Nicolas Colsaerts and Jim Furyk.

Good luck!

Absolutely, golf is my number 2 sport, sometimes number 1!

Already on Phil outright, and Lynn top debutant. Topped up with Kooch last night whilst ew terms were still available before the par 5s. They will make the gaff harder today to keep scoring down and do think early starters will be favoured, so as already on two live ones leaving it till the weekend now.

If you want three excellent websites that prove to be profitable over the year and have the tips for free with good reasoning: golf punters guide, sports betting index, and tour-tips (stats are fee paying, all the tips are free). The latter in particular has an excellent fella that tips the Euro 72-matches, in-running on the Euro tour and also the difficult Challenge Tour, on which he recorded the highest profit the site has seen since covering it.

Oh, the other two have nothing to do with me, they are just very good reads Laugh

some of the prices for people a few shots off the lead after 1 day are insane its not impossible to hit a low score and jump right

awful so far. Phil playing like an amateur, Kooch dropping away with silly shots. Tiger very unfortunate not to be better and looks too obvious as Day surely cant hold on under this pressure. May give Charl another go, shot low over the weekend when it was softer greens when he won and just gives the impression he is ready to find something. This is the most open I can remember and theres 10 you can fancy.

Just to mention one of the sites below gave 66-1 Snedekera couple of months ago and 125-1 Cabrera, both huge runners over the weekend.

Good Luck

Tiger in trouble here, strict interpretation of the rules knocks him out.

"I went down to the drop area, that wasn't going to be a good spot, because obviously it's into the grain and it was a little bit wet."

“So it was muddy and not a good spot to drop. So I went back to where I played it from, but I went two yards farther back and I tried to take two yards off the shot of what I felt I hit."

That's what he said in the press conference with CBS which basically hangs himself Shocked be great for my book to see the back of him Laugh

Why isnt everyone lumping on the likes of Scott/Charl/Angel etc, youll have them all 6 points shorter within minutes. Rory will be 3 points shorter etc etc. Cant see it yet there have been more 'unfair' decisions in the game over the last year

Think Rory Mcilroy is learning one of the easiest lessons in golf that he could have learnt by sitting in the bar at any golf course

"Never take your missus out on the course with you"

I was out with my mate and our wives (my first wife) years ago  and it was my first and last time.
My mate was having a pi55 in the corner of a sheltered tee area when his missus said to him "your pee is very yellow this morning darling"
FFS ... last thing a bloke would ever had worried about on a golf course Cry

I took a girlfriend round a few times. Once was doubles and played my best golf ever. Think we had a top 3 finish in the tournament anyway, we might have won. So long ago, cant remember.

Anyway, already mentioned Snedeker and Cabrera, now 25/1 Scott in the picture also. Think the betting now is roughly about 5/2 Snedeker, 4/1 Scott and 11/2 Cabrera

. A man was addressing the ball when an announcement came over the loud-speaker: "Will the gentleman on hole number one please not hit from the Ladies' tee box."

The man backs away, a little distracted, then approaches his ball again. As he does, the same announcement comes over the loud-speaker: "Will the gentleman on hole number one please not hit from the Ladies' tee box."

The man is getting irritated now, and after backing away from his shot - approaches his ball one more time. This time the announcement came: "We really need the gentleman on hole number one to move off of the Ladies' tee box!"

To which the man turns around and yells: "And I really need the announcer to shut fcuk up and let me play my second shot!" -- Happy

7. A U.S. citizen is vacationing on his own in Ireland. He decides to play a round of golf and is paired with three local gents. He takes a few practice swings, steps up to the first tee, and proceeds to hook the ball out of bounds. He shakes his head, reaches in his pocket, and re-tees another ball. He tells his playing partners that he is taking a Mulligan. He pounds one down the center of the fairway about 280 yards out.

With a big smile, he asks the others "In the U.S., we call that a Mulligan; was wondering what you called it here in Ireland."

After a moment of silence, one of the locals replies, "Hitting three." --

O.K. LADS I PROMISE NO MORE.

been bang against tiger all the way through to the point at 5/4 and 6/4 friday i had got too involved, really too involved! tiger is not fun at all for me, westwood, furyk and garcia are rank but tiger is big big 4 figure red.

same token, worst other result is winning a monkey and i want scott for the sweets. i might not even watch it later if tiger is a million half way through as up early in the morning, might just refresh my account and let it be a surprise who won!

Terrific result 25/1 Adam Scott wins. Backed him before but he blew a big tournament, nice to see him make amends. Had runner-up too, 100/1 Angel Cabrera but Scott won slightly more, only dealing with coppers

No sweat Addy, Tiger was out to 66/1, couldnt win. Was watching the in-play betting, interesting:
Scott Cabrera
1/9   6/1
4/6   6/5
8/11  11/10
4/5   evens

went down to 10/11 each of two. How can 1/9 shots nearly get beat? Is in-play betting a farce, too volatile. One bad or one good shot and the whole thing turns on its head?

he had switched off by then p f
guaranteed half a million
already got jacket in the locker
he just went up and hit it at the 18th

even in the play off he was turning round telling the crowd to shut up
no nerves whatsoever
he knew it could go either way
there comes a point when you just play and don't worry about anything
Cabrera was a joy to watch at that stage
playing well within himself , relaxed , other fellah was wound up to the eyeballs
