47 runners in 8 races at Yarmouth on Wednesday night - 27 railers, 14 middles and 6 wides - no track can host top class greyhound racing without trouble with that mix of runners.

yarmouth needs shutting down as soon as possible
likewise kinsley and peterborough
dont know how these sh1te holes get the top races
all decent events should be staged at monmore,hove, cov,notts or sittingbourne

they just seem to go that bit faster open dogs

the track is unsafe mate , giving the game a bad name

the nature of open racing is that many of the dogs have little or no experience of running the track.

unlike graded racing where each dog gets its correct trap (supposedly ), open racing sees many dogs running in the wrong traps.

to minimise carnage tracks need width,a decent run to the bend and good bends.

the sh1tehole tracks meet none of these criteria and its the dogs that suffer.

we are lucky enough to have some excellent tracks and i believe these should host the major events.

another consideration when deciding which tracks should host major events should be the strength of the betting ring.

So, what wins the Gymcrack now? Fastest qualifier Guinness Spark, Sidaz Scotty (ex-Droopys Marshall) or something else? Still wide open, imo. Was going to back 8/1 Strategic Review and 16/1 Bonamassa Rocks but never got chance. Will look at betting now

Never a place to run fast pup . When a flap we took some fast dogs there never seen slower old hand that stuck to the rail piss home . Like the droopys marshal dog looks the fastest up to me gl

just a point lads nobody makes you enter the comp if you think its unsafe you tell your trainer no way (that said which clowns pick these tracks ? (and if they came down from the hospitality box on final night they could see for themselves)

ive never been to kinsley been told its a sh1te hole and that 500 bet story sums up what ive been told im all for tracks having there big night once a year, but only if the tracks safe and the bookies take a fair bet if not they should stick to the graded cards we have 4/5 great tracks if the others cant get up to the standard b0llocks to them

could not think of a worse track to run a top puppy competition

Been a long time coming but made my plays now: 8/1 Strategic Review and 10/1 Bonamassa Rocks. They both avoid the hot first semi which sees the likes of Sidaz Scotty, Guinness Spark and Borna Bob racing and also importantly, each other. Strategic ran well against kennelmate Cluxtons Free in the Monmore Puppy Derby and Rocks missed the Golden Sprint for a crack at this. Hopeful of getting at least one finalist anyway
