Had a go, 7/1 outright Beaufield Belle for Derby. True, had a few chances recently but estimate has been running 4 lengths short of best. Calculated risk, will be more ready for this and about evens for her heat, the antepost price would look very foolish if she re-approaches her best. Small nibble 16/1 Rin Tin Tin too. Jumps up in class but a regular fast starter, could even beat the popular favourite Denwill Star in heats. In the other heat, Hadrians Wall will be short but reliant on taking the gaps.
Super Sprint looks good for 13/8 antepost Wells Honour. Back over optimum trip, likely to take a great deal of stopping. Peanuts at 25/1 each-way Ballymac Mozart too.
On tonight's action itself, trixie and extra treble 3/1 Rin Tin Tin, may show the necessary improvement, 5/1 Aulton Enda, not too far behind the two principals imo and 4/1 Ballymac Mozart, who can step out sharp sometimes. One treble alone would pay 119/1.
Incidentally, the three Sprint heats are 5-dog races with T6 vacant in each.

Beaufield Belle murdered at every point, desperately unlucky. One of those nights, giving up and going out.

After Beaufield Belle and Rin Tin Tin both desperately unlucky not to be in the Derby final, 13/8 Denwill Star looks fair enough now. Soon dictating, Hadrians Wall may struggle to reel him in.
Poor run from Wells Honour in the Super Sprint may have left the door open for Nadurra Buzz, who looks okay at 5/2, imo.
