Made my opening gambit, just a few quid Colbert Station and Seabass. Been following Colbert in Ireland and couldnt not back it. Seabass has a woman jockey onboard. She's done well before and it would be nice to see her make history.

Others got an eye on, Chicago Grey, Ballabriggs, Sunnyhillboy.

Horses for coppers only could be Quel Esprit and Saint Are.

Good luck, you always need it in this the greatest steeplechase in the world

Less than two weeks away and Colbert Station missed Cheltenham for this, could be a shrewd move Wink

Weird Al could have a squeak if the bigger fences get him turned on.

Has ran desperately the last couple though.

I fancy On His Own to do a West Tip... He was travelling strongly last year before coming down at Bechers 2nd time around...
(Did not jump well early but got better). He won a hurdle prep race and comes into this on the same mark as last year...
Hard to Nap a National winner but I fancy nothing else.... Gonna have a tenner on Joncol for sentiment if he definately  runs!!!

Let's face it, it's always a lottery but happy enough with my 19/1 Colbert Station and 13.5/1 Seabass. Mentioned a few for coppers on the opening post and would like to add Balthazar King mainly, hunter could do well. One other for peanuts, Mr Moonshine. Might be lucky if one of them gets round unscathed! Plain

Woody. Seabass is owned by some fellahs twelve miles up the road from me. I hope it wins the race but I fear the poor performances of the Irish horses so far at Aintree is down to the going being Good not Soft or Heavy. The vibes have not been coming out so positive from Dunmore.

Only the two really Addy. Literally pennies the rest for money back, some very fancy prices

I remember the "amazing" Tom Segal, Pricewise last year. He was interviewed before the race and calmly gave a few, as time ran out, he managed to rattle off about another four! Laugh

I think the "amazing" Tom Segal turns over good profits every year in the RP though Woody so if he wants to tip up 35 of the 40 runners i wouldn't be saying anything

Dont want to upset his fans, just found that funny. We, the family, have 16 horses. What's the chances none of us have got the winner?!

I wouldn't be a fan, only take any notice of what he puts up as come 8 tonight when it's realised on the RP online the ****s that pretend to be bookmakers slash the prices and only put them back up for 15 mins in the morning when you're limited to pennies. It's a nightmare when he tips up one you fancy Angry

although that cash cow now ended as he isnt having another greyhound bet ever again so back to the drawing board Laugh

there were only 17 that got round, slightly higher than the recent historical par

I think all 40 coming back safe and sound was essential, so job done there

across the bay ran a great race, typical lovely positive ride Cool, as for seabass Sad

While i don't want to see any horses getting injured it didn't do it for me [however i've never been a big fan of the race], they may as well just have a 4 1/2 mile handicap chase on the Mildmay course now, the fences are probably tougher on that course

Auroras Encore would probably been in my bottom five out of the forty, a lot of other people's too. Huge payday for the bookies. It was a similar story in the Irish Grand National. These races seem nothing but bookie benefits
