Well, was looking forward to Coventry, had done my crib sheet and everything. Loose end tonight now. Taking missus out for early Sunday lunch, then might look at the nags. Lingfield, Wincanton and the Curragh currently on. Terrible windy here but no sign of snow in the slightest. Might have the missus a game of darts or play a board game tonight. May even, get my pool table out or top up my tan for Corfu Happy

Just found out i'll miss the 3 Steps heats and the Arc semis. Not too bothered about those really, but really wanted to see the Scottish Derby heats, which i miss also

woody, is it true that you bet on the colour of the next car that comes around the corner?Grin

the good news for you is if you take a laptop and park yourself in a hotel lobby etc (if they can afford wifi and are not bankrupt) you can watch Scottish on RPGTV internet feed (both heats and final on according to below link( whilst you are doing the card and gauging your bets for how many plates will be smashed in the tourist restaurant that night, bravoCool

It's usually two spiders crawling up the wall for me but you aint lived til youve gone snail racing! LaughWink.

For what it's worth, picked out some nags. Opening day of flat at Curragh and done Birds Eye View, Yellow Rosebud and Francis Of Assisi treble paying about 10/1. All have favourite's chances.

At Lingfield, always back the outsider of 3, therefore Marmot Bay. The market vibes seem right for Guards Chapel and old favourite, Daniel Thomas, 11-y-o now, may notch up his double.

Dont fancy anything at Wincanton apart from Milarrow.

Just very small stakes for an interest and to keep me out of mischief.

Good luck!

Oh Swayne, dont think the holiday resorts are affected that much. Corfu Town for example still looks very affluent, or should that be effluent?! Grin
