Great meeting to my way of thinking but Derby hopes easily my main interest, Ballymac Eske (possibly biggest win of the year), Farloe Warhawk and Loughteen Blanco. Really only hoping all come out of their races fit and well.
Virtually all races high class and very hard to find clear-cut winners, imo. Having said that, like 6/4 Bridge Ruth (top bitch) 13/8 Loughteen Blanco (tremendous race with Bubbly Phoenix in prospect) and double paying 11/2, best odds guaranteed. Saver 7/1 Lughill Valarie, flying at present, stays, in the form of her life and well over-priced, imo.
A little interest 6/1 Droopys Xavier in hot stayers race. Not sure why Blonde Reagan is so short. True, he returns to the scene of his St Leger win, but dont think he's in that kind of form.
Tremendous marathon. All got close links but about 2/1 Aero Rebel, back to her best at Romford, could be the one if transferring that form to Wimbledon.
All that is not to mention the Springbok. Looks extremely hard to me but small go 10/3 Lenson Johnny, just for an interest.
I backed Ballymac Pen and lost sight of it at least 3 times (out of picture) during the race, plus the obligatory head-on that tells you nothing during the live race...

lol i remember backing it at hove when it was a penalty kick imo and it found every troublespot going but its trackcraft has improved massively as its got older just my 2 cents

hoping for a bullseye upset and eske being shortened to 7/1 fav. LaughCoolfor the derby. Would be massive value elsewhere then.
Abit concerned to be shouting for the same as woody there and hopefully if it wins tomorrow i can get off the train stoppers selections.

was looking forward to programme tonight, they need to work on the camera posistioning its shocking they even took hobbsies gag of towards the end, thought enzo did ok no fooks ups or mumbling about how a 1/3 looked a good bet and no mention of a good meal then again it was the don so no chance of that

To be fair PF, he's won more than a one-off invitation, plus a whisker off the Puppy Derby and a close second in an outstanding race at Shelbourne, Night of Stars but think your post is a bit tongue-in-cheek?

Woody all he won tonight is a 1 off invitation which i said, don't get your knickers in a twist because i didn't shoot my load all over the tv
He is an exceptional greyhound, blessed with crazy pace but because he routed a field in a one off they are all of a sudden talking about him winning all 3 Derbies, it will be a hell of an achievement to win either the Irish or English Derby. The Scottish doesn't count anymore seen as that's now a farce

He won that big competition at Hove and before tonight, still thought him likely the one to beat in the Derby (always extremely hard to win though) and probably even better 550yds Shelbourne. I'm sure he's exceptional and wouldnt totally surprise me if he goes quite close to the clean sweep. Derbies are notoriously hard, the pinnacle of greyhound racing

Eske can win the Derby, but he had a lovely draw tonight, always capable of leading up the inside two... Won't have it that easy in the Derby.. Just gutted I didn't get matched at 3.0 greedy facker!!!

When:06 Mar 12 21:06 Sour grapes coz the knockers missed the 33s etc? Only yourselves to blame. Touted enough and plenty of chances after the Puppy Derby, Romford Puppy Cup and Laurels. Probably not though coz most seem to genuinely want Eden to do well but they still have their doubts. Personally, i have no idea what you would have the dog do. Think the fading possibility will be less apparent on faster going in May. He is a rocket. Other dogs can do 4.75s splits too, yes but that's to the winning line. He comes forward to the bend and as long as not drawn out on a limb, best draw trap 2 or 3, will be brushing dogs aside at the bend and leaving most for dead.

I don't think they're wasting their time at all still running Bluehawk over 4 bends, it would not surprise me in the least to see him go deep in the Derby and even all the way to the final, he will be very tough to knock out with that finishing kick.
They can then step him up to 6 bends for the likes of the Grand Prix at Sunderland and the St Leger at Wimbledon

for me same profile as lenson joker Westmead Maldini great dogs not derby dogs DROOPYS Bradley could do 28.30 easy but 495 splits hes in the carzie at the first bend blonde dog 23.80 at Romford 3.85 again where going to be at the first bend in race Is he as good as above !!! I just think he be a great six bend dog IMO

have to say he'd be kept to 4 bends as long as possible were he mine,he needs to grow up in the mind and concentrate on job in hand over the 4 before tackling the 6 bends imo,hes the type of dog that will have a needlessly short career were he put over the 6 too early imo.

This will be his one shot to run in a Derby in all probability, yes there are many more speedier dogs than him in the competition and he is an outsider to win outright but he is as strong as any and all he needs to do is keep finishing in the first 3. All it then takes is a messy final and who knows, unlikely but if he where mine i'd be running him in the Derby.
The 2 biggest 6 bend races of the year are both after the Derby so why the rush to step him up in trip, it's not as if he is missing out on massive 6 bend comps by staying over 4 bends for the Derby.

Me on the other hand, have no financial interest and am just keen to see the dog fulfil his potential,a true sportsmans attitude if you like, much like many utd fans in that respect.

Bet aside i still think he should be aimed at it. If he was missing big 6 bends comps to stay over 4 bends for it i could see why people would ask the question of what they're doing but that doesn't seem to be the case.

yeah i'm still going to be a player for the Derby, not really bothered that he made an arse of the start last night, he just charged the boxes at the wrong time and then got himself in a right mess.
I haven't played yet as he was injured and then they where worried about him after his rubbish Yarmouth trial and with still quite a bit of time to go to the Derby i don't want to be risking it quite yet, i would at bigger though.

i know this is two days late.........but i was hammered tuesday and went on the pi55 yesterday for good measure spending a lot of today in bed..........
i can confirm that pigeons sh1tting on you IS NOT LUCKY. I was "targeted" about 3 minutes before comeragh king's race, who i had bet and couldnt believe what i was seeing.........so anyone who says thats lucky is talking out their ar5e.
won small on the night, was there at the track and 4 cannoned into aero rebel and i knew we werent winning then, the race got me out the sh1t was betting jolly bullseye and laying both blanco (2.36 i think i laid) and bubbly phoenix. also laid reagan quite strongly as he was short, was nicely in front but had too much on warhawk and by the time booze was flowing i stood eske for more than i should have. bridge ruth was a small winner.
one day, i will learn, to not punt p155ed
