Is Mr Foster & the owner of Droopys Yensen not bringing the game into disrepute by continuing to run this dog. Offers have been made I believe to home it and fair play to that person concerned but surely now the time has arrived to force his retirement for the sake of the dog and the sport by the Powers that be..

He is becoming a laughing stock just like the winless Quixall Crossett was a few years ago.

imagine how this poor owner feels ,he paid 7 grand , yes I repeat 7 grand for this dog at sheffield sales, it did 29.44 round sheffield as a 16 month old pup,but the going was given out as +20, but was more like +60
the poor chap is probably still in denial that he paid so much for a dog thats turned out to be a bottom grade duffer,
COME TO THE SALES AND GRAB A BARGAINSurprised,NOT

i would never buy from the sales its just too risky IMHO

There is a thread on greyhoundscene about this dog....Haviton and myself bid on the dog at Sheffield sales, thankfully he did way too much money, enquiries have recently been made in order to purchase him and retire him, beat 31 legnths last night, dog deserves better.

it looks to me like he just doesnt have the gonads for racing, flashy trials or solos are ok, but toughing it out at the first bend in a 6 dog schmozzle seperates the men from the boys
then again he might be like the dog of peter beaumonts who wouldnt raise a leg despite being an expensive irish purchase, remember him telling the tale of one day he got out of his kennel and mr beaumont had left the back door open , found him curled up under kitchen table happy as larry, from then on used to let dog come in house sleep under table ended up winning scottish derby think it was Killouragh Chris, but i will stand to be corrected if anyone knows different
Yensen might want the one to one treatment or he might be lame or as i think he might just not like racing!

Dog is paceless....might have a chance in bottom grade but that is its level . When it finished second in an A6 Opening Rye , who runs into trap 5 box rise ruined the two dogs outside it and Saleen White Tip just doesn't start . It was left in second and still got beat easy . How the dog was kept in high grades for so long is a mystery that only the racing manager knows.....it can't jump either...

Just to put the matter straight, the current owners didnt pay £7k for the dog.

The person who did, had the dog replaced by the Dunphys

Nice one. Thought it 4/6 myself really in a 2-dog race, although in the end, the 3rd was bang there. Think Glenis and Kyle play games a bit. Glenis came from miles behind Kyle in the heats and won narrowly. But, in the final, they were nip and tuck from a long way out and Glenis still only won narrowly. What dya think?

To be honest, I think Sheffield have a major problem with the hare/hare driving at Sheffield.

More and more dogs are dodging and waiting at Sheffield than I have seen for a long time. OK, you get the odd one but there's more and more recently.

I genuinely think that Farloe Barracuda waited in the sprint. Glenis has always been a tad quirky.

I also thought that Droopys Cinders fought on the run in but the winner won by that far that the stewards wouldnt have been able to see it on the repeat.

all bgrb tracks keep the hare too far away from the dogs IMHO

Agree on all points but not sure about Barracuda. Tornado bolted out but Barracuda played catch-up in brilliant style to lead at the bend. Fast dog in his own right Tornado and thought he was always likely to go close after flying the lids. Cinders was blatant, should have had her card marked, although not sure if i noticed a loose jacket, too?
