7.46 Looks a penalty kick for useful Irish import Tibetan Skies.
8.18 If you didnt know the T2 runner and that she was on a nine-timer you could be forgiven for mistakenly going 5/2 the field, coz barely a length seperates all six runners on current end-times.
8.50 King Bradley didnt get a smooth run but was beaten less than a length by Britania Joan last time. Guinness Dusty chances, also.
9.24 Bubbly Phoenix. Very smart and looks head and shoulders above these. Trialled well and surely no danger, despite the lay-off.
9.56 What a good race. Airlie Impact runs the bends very wide and gingerly but no surprise to see him reverse last week's form with Slippery Patch, a shock 14/1 winner there. The others cant be entirely ruled out, especially Bridge Bandit.
10.11 Good bitches race. Sharies Miller returns from seasonal rest but shade disappointing prior to that. However, back fresh with good trials and respected. Droopys Danneel has lots of abiity, too. Forest Dot, knocked out of it at traps when i fancied her last time, is no forlorn hope to make amends.

At Henlow, best bet could be 9.48 Doonane Lad. He done me some good turns and fancied to get the better of Ferryforth Paul.

Thinking about the Tibetan/Phoenix double at estimated combined odds of 11/8. Would be nice to see two top dogs winning.

Good Luck!

Was due to depart for Malaga at 4.20 today. On the bright side, this missus is comfortable and we are currntly having a sunny few days in Manchester

Went to Vue yesterday in t-shirt and pullover but that warm, had to take t-shirt off!

Dont want to lay Tibetan coz would like to see him win, after watching him race in Ireland. Could be tempted to lay Your A Champ though and Phoenix is a top class dog with Derby claims and couldnt bring myself to lay him. I know its got to be a biggish bet at only 11/8, but due some luck. Virtually only bet in opens but 8.50, 9.56 and 10.11 very hard. Dont think anyone could bet in those confidently. At Henlow, 3/1 Ferryforth Paul is better than 11/8 but there again, fav Doonane Lad is a dog i follow. So, i know it's not sticking my neck out, but hopefully, a winning bet, is a winning bet. Will be very pleased if they win anyway

Surprised you dont mention Sidaz Dippy Woody.Really like the look of her over 6 bends and everything in her pedigree suggests that the step up in trip will see her really excel.Short tonight so wont be betting her unless she goesout to around 4/5 but will watch with interest.

Can i ask on what basis you wouldnt be surprised to see Airlie Impact reverse the form with Slippery Patch?Reason i ask was because i thought he was very very dissapointing lto where everything fell perfect for him and Patch blew by him as if he wasnt there imo.Im not convinced with the form of that race though because it was trouble strewn on the inside and the only one to miss the trouble was Airlie Impact.Thought he was a real good lay at anything below 4.0 tbh tonight although i wont be laying him because i dont lay on here.

Pheonix should win but again wont be playing because of the layoff and the draw and such short odds.

Tibetan looks good but everything tells me not to play an Irish dog first time out over here for a new trainer.Head Case,Crucial Kaka,Dusseldorf and so on,so again i will be watching on at such short odds.

Wont be playing in the sprint either or the bitches race.

If im having any bets tonight it will be if Sidaz Dippy goes 4/5 or better.I can understand why your playing the short double and wont be surprised to see it cop but for the reasons i have highlighted im not convinced but it should be good viewing tonight.GL all.

Good points as i've come to expect from you Bookie. Think Patch excelled himself and repeat more unlikely than likely and Airlie, open to improvement, would only have to run the bends smoother, imo. May, may not, how long's a piece of string?

In the case of Phoenix, dont quite a lot of top class dogs make winning comebacks?, note Slick Santiago Monday.

I see where youre coming from with Irish debutants but Tibetan faces much poorer opposition than in Ireland and only needs to supplement trial form anyway?

I'll take a closer look at Sidaz Dippy, thanks

Dont like Doonane Lad from 4 but fair play, dogs a winner.

Still looking but not entirely convinced by much tonight, just one or two but I'll be happy to wait

Fattie, what i mean is i can understand why a favourite punter would be playing them but on a value basis i couldnt bet them.I suppose that means they should be layed but i no longer lay on here and in some cases like tonight i would much rather watch without a vested interest for future reference.
When i say it wouldnt surprise me if they won, nothing surprises me in greyhound racing and they are quality animals but i think Woody looks at the opposition too much and in that respect i can see why he would be betting them but i also like to think about the actual dog im backing and for the reasons i highlighted i couldnt back them tonight.HTH.

Ps if horsemeat was legal and they sold it i would eat it if it tasted good.

Lay of the night sidaz dippy , ridiculous price for a dog never come out of the 695 traps and imo if it dont lead it CANNOT win

6 being a non runner changes Airlie Impacts race alot.Still think it is vulnerable though but maybe nearer 3.3 and below now.

Will have to look closer at TR's Racy Thunder at Henlow as well.

Thanks Bookie. She doing much better now but i have to change the dressings regularly and it's a 20 mile round trip to her clinic to see the nurse every other day. At least, she's in no pain now.

Done, flight wasnt cancelled. In fact, we watched it take off out of my living room window, saying we should have been on that. Missus' had complications after her op and didnt recover in time to travel, we thought she would.

It's her birthday tomorrow and she's due in clinic but i've bought her a nice card and present. Told her if she feels able, i'll take her for lunch

Bookie, took mum and sisters to Milan once and we had horse-meat. It was really nice and tasty. I dont know what all the fuss is about but bet McDonalds are shaking in their boots if their burgers are found to have traces

seriously woody ... hope she gets well soon.

Interested in a couple of rags tonight, pistol baby and ballymac sicily. The former contests an A9 for the first time since march 2011 and 8-1 appeals (at least). This dog has not won for 15 races and has dropped down the grades from A5. last four races finished 5/6/6/5, how bad can it now be ? Its either got a niggle or the grader is praying for forgiveness.  Sicily was a shelbourne dog and has the ability to be quick away sometimes, with four wides in the race it appears a quick start will get her quite close (7-1 R P tissue) .

Seamus could well win the A11, but at evs his Two i won't be on, if however they do drift to 2-1 the pair i will have a dabble. Would not lay tibetan at any price, more interested in whether Young's Trap 3 gets a place. Could even be better value than champ for me. Good luck all round lads. Laugh

Just to keep me amused also done a little trixie and an extra treble (paying 25/1) on the revised markets with Coral.
4/1 Aughacasla Viera, 3/1 Guinness Dusty and 10/3 Bridge Bandit

Good luck!
