Bad night tbf Woody.
Haysey bolted up and Post and Daryl both got beat and the forecast although coming up was in the wrong order ![]() Tbf to Irish he did post up 2 at Romford and both won at 25/1 and 11/4 SP(both bigger on here). |

Yes Middleman. Bets no good but happy enough with the preview. Wins for Shane, Tilly, Hayesy, Risky, Fermoy and Marshall, all mentioned.
Dont know what Irish does, he's blocked. Good luck to him though! |

Am i reading that right? Your bets lost but you're happy enough because you mentioned some winners in your preview?
Woody that is a bizarre mentality. |
|
By:
If you look at BAGS tips in RP they make 3 selections per race. I sometimes mention two in a race, just unlucky to go for the wrong one sometimes?

ie, tip, danger, alternative. Like i said, thought the preview wasnt too bad

Not always about getting the winner and making a profit. Take the Night of Stars. It was a very hard card but tremendous racing and so pleased i went. Lost, but would have been a free trip if Eske had won. Never mind

Woody, your not writing for a newspaper though and by the looks of some of your comments about value and previews you never should be imho.
I suppose it depends on what the papers are after.Me personally if i were the papers owners i would hire a puppet to spellcheck and edit etc and some knowledgable people to actually write the previews and do the tips. The post seem to get this right with the football etc imo because most selections are made on value grounds but seem to lack when it comes to horses and greyhounds where selections are basically made on who is the best rather than who is the best value. Put it this way,if you got someone from on here to write your previews when you worked for whatever paper you worked for then you would still be in a job imho. I have actually applied for these types of jobs in the past and odds compiler jobs etc but it seems if you dont have degrees etc you have no chance and possibly that is where they go wrong.Im lucky enough that i dont need a job at the moment but it is stressfull relying on gambling to survive with a family and i would love to work for a bookmakers or paper where it involved doing something i loved.Possibly that is why you hang onto writing these pointless writups who knows, but you do say some crazy things tbh. |

Woody has no respect for anyone on here, middleman, all the best judges have offered their advice at one time or another and he has not taken a blind bit of notice. The R P job was a very safe haven , how many complaints do you ever see in that media about the quality of the tipping. On here I slaughter him because he thinks we are the same fodder as those that follow the R P , yet look carefully at what he does, he writes a review about one meeting and then a few minutes later you get a review on another thread for another meeting. No in depth thought, just basic bowlocks that you find on the terraces of most greyhound stadiums from six packers or at the foot of a race in the r p. The man is totally clueless, to come on a greyhound betting thread and say "its not always about getting the winner and making a profit" sums him up .

Thanks Middleman. I was quite happy going about my own business before i joined this site, only did on the recommendation of a friend. Poor tipping record since and your "pointless write-ups" comment concerns me. Thought sometimes i provide info not apparent to some, even if not getting too many winners. Pop on with news like about the Springbok, Trainers Championship an Derby etc. Kinda enjoying it but some got it in for me. Did you know Farloe Barracuda is ear-marked for the Golden Sprint at Romford after the Trainers' Championship, for example? Okay, not much luck with previews but often report on races some people dont see. Is that not helpful? If i'm seen by all as pointless, think i might sling my hook
