All i'd like to say at this point is really looking forward to the night's undoubted highlight, the 9.40 race at Hove.

Top bitch Bridge Ruth looks as good as ever and would seem to hold Airlie Impact purely on last week's clash. However, Impact made a great comeback there, imo, seeing as he had been slightly disappointing prior to lay-off and is open to any amount of improvement. Closer this time if Impact not too wide and remember he has a 29.39sec on his card!  Add another top bitch Rockburst Pearl, returning to action and you can see what a race it could be, especially as Pearl has an 8/10 winning record over this 515m course and distance. Express Trend wont find it easy but apart from one race, reached the Oaks semis in her last 4 bend race a couple of seasons ago and could be making late gains. Slippery Patch and Gripping Stuff complete the line-up. Fine race in prospect!

It's an interesting card, well for me anyway as a few dogs i like that i think could go well in the Derby are on it.

Why hellcat running that 475 trip for?
its a crap run to the bend as to ping and that just a risk not worth taking
with a dog that as he gears.
paddle a little coming home but that was he's first run!
I fancy a dog in a maiden tonight

Do you mean why is he seeded (w)?

He was seeded (w) for his last few races over here and he seemed to break better from the outside and went up middle but only when he was clear, i've seen his trial comments which are all rails to mid over there though.

Interested to see how Bluehawk goes tonight(no bet though).

Will probably just play the unders tonight as its a tough looking card.Lot of unknown factors ie dogs having first run back or second run(bounce factor)ie Arlie/Jaytee or dogs having their first run like Mottos. The markets will probably give good possitives/negatives tonight so not a bad night to play the unders.

Only one main bet, 9/2 Airlie Impact, looks excellent for each-way purposes. 4/1 now still fair for a length and half beating by Bridge Ruth, coz that's about evens and Impact ought to improve, just needs to keep an eye on his wide running. Only Rockburst Pearl seems able to spoil the place party but although splendid trial form, bitches usually need a little bit of time after seasonal rest. Lay Airlie Impact very large for a place please, Irish!

Other little pops, just for an interest: 11/8 Jayee Hellcat (now best 8/11) and sp Teejays Bluehawk (coz no price yet), paying about a guesstimated 3/1 combined.

Fancy Pams Tomjo but likewise, no price yet?

Slightly favouring 3/1 King Lauchlan over slow to get motivated Freedom Cache and what would be a timeform scribble Ballymac Pen.

Other very small interests at Henlow: 9/4 Doonane Lad. Any Dak useful when cutting free but not totally consistent, imo, and Doonane could be safer. 10/1 Daddys Round, neither Westmead Shaw nor Bush Standard were able to win last week, so looking for a repeat 10/1 winner.

Ain't there a NR in Jaytee Hellcat's race

I think Jaytee Hellcat and Teejays Bluehawk will both have big years, both have gone well around Wimbledon

Gl, will be interested to see how Cache runs tonight as I reckon he'll keep coming on for a bit yet. Having did me on the line a week after being on for the GJ, he isnt the best of luck dogs but Ill cherr him on for the sake of it.

Not playing, run is awful, so GL with all yer wagers

Damn these non-runners. Rank outsider and no-hoper Gripping Stuff dont go now. Means i've lost my 9/2 Airlie Impact though and could be looking at 5/2 sp now! Cant 'phone up and cancel coz on at the betting shop.

To pile on the agony, youre right PF. Res runs in Jaytee Hellcat's race. Again, lost my 11/8, 365 go only 4/6 now! Cry

Prices in for Pams Tomjo and Teejays Bluehawk now. 5/2 and 10/11 respectively look fair enough to me
